The staff at this property is top-tier! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Our room was lovely, clean and had all the amenities. Our stay included free breakfast, which was an added bonus. The attached restaurant and bar served as a great place to gather with friends. I would highly highly recommend this hotel.

Nice inn in village location
Nice village inn. Room was clean and had everything you need - just a little compact and underwhelming (more like a motel as we were in the anex directly off the car park). Breakfast excellent - good quality and freshly cooked. Dinner in the inn pretty good and service friendly and efficient.

We really enjoyed our brief stay, we were visiting family & Stock was a good base. The room was very nice & very clean. Breakfasts were excellent. Only real issue was the shower panel, not big enough & water went all over the floor.

Lovely accommodation near Chelmsford
Lovely hotel/pub in a pretty village. Comfortable beds and super shower facilities. Breakfast was very good too- can recommend the full English and bacon sandwich.
