This hotel provides a pleasant, authentic Istanbul experience. Located on a narrow street (don’t even dream about parking) within walking distance of all types of shopping opportunities. We felt safe and welcome here, will return.

we did not like the state of the property room was not cleaned smell of cigarette and bathroom was blocked , bedding was not really cleaned and there was kettle, or coffee, just some bottle of water, overall disappointed.

Property is very close to all the attractions. It was clean and the front desk people were helpful. Shower in my room was terrible, water was dripping from the shower and it would take forever to wash. Breakfast was hopeless. However, they had coffee 24 hrs and it was nice.

Um bom hotel com excelente café da manhã
O Elyka hotel está muito bem localizado em Istambul próximo a diversos pontos de interesse (Grand Bazar, Mesquita Azul, Hagia Sophia, Palácio Topkapi, etc). Contudo, existem pontos positivos e outros negativos que merecem ser destacados. Pontos positivos: A localização é muito boa e acessível a pé para quem chega no aeroporto Internacional de Istambul. O metrô sai de dentro do aeroporto e deixa a cerca de 10 minutos (Estacão M2 Vezneciler) caminhando do hotel (caminhada tranquila e segura). A cama e o chuveiro são muito bons, proporcionam excelente descanso). O café da manhã é MUITO BOM! Tem tudo que você precisa para um belo dia de turismo e caminhada. Adoramos o café! Pontos negativos: O quarto (pelo menos o nosso) tem carpete no chão. Quem em pleno ano de 2024 mantém carpete no chão? Além de um leve cheiro de “sujeira”, claramente acumula muito pó. Outro ponto negativo é a falta de comunicação fluente da equipe em inglês. Apesar de ser algo comum na turquia (os turcos falam muito mal a língua inglesa), me parece falta de dedicação você não saber o básico para se comunicar com seus clientes (certamente a maioria é estrangeiro). Fora isso, recomendo sim o Elyka Hotel pois trata-se de excelente custo-benefício.

The room was rather small and a bit run down. I had to fix the shower head. The curtains were ill-fitting and needing repair. The finish carpentry in places looked like it was done with a hatchet. The good part was the staff was friendly. The gal attending the breakfast servive was proud and aimed to please. The location was OK. I think your could do better for the money. There are thousands of hotels in this area.

The hotel was terrible. It was dirty and smelly. Smelled of damp and cigarettes. The house keeping was poor they didn’t change bed sheets properly did not clean the bathroom. There was rubbish right outside the hotel. The hotel was really noise they allowed smoking inside the hotel which came in through the air con. This was not a child friendly hotel. The breakfast was limited and poor. Old milk put out gave my child a bad stomach. Would not recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff at the hotel were very friendly and willing to help. Even though not everyone speaks English but that was not an issue as they are quick to use a translation app to communicate when necessary. The breakfast was very good and even though unattended, they were very quick to replenish when requested. We had an early flight so they willingly started the breakfast service early to accommodate us which was very much appreciated. The property is a bit dated and some areas need uplifting but that did not impact our stay and we will happily go back. Highly recommended and thank you to everyone at the hotel to make our stay a very comfortable one.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Elyka Hotel. It’s a 10 room, family run hotel, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was also very clean. No complaints. Being in a central area has its ups and downs - easy to get everywhere and good transport links, but also the surrounding area was very chaotic and busy. This does not detract from the Hotel. Itself.
