I would have been fine with the run-downness of the place (holy towels, black shower tiles etc) for the price and the location. But I had a really negative experience with a sexist staff member who clearly had certain ideas about a women travelling alone. It made me uncomfortable for the rest of my stay and I would never i back.

Absolutely horrible hotel. The actual rooms are nothing like the photos. DO NOT waste your money. There are PLENTY of other good quality hotels in Taksim for the same or less price.

Прекрасный отельчик в центре Истанбула, в котором мы побывали дважды за один отпуск. Его преимущества: - находится в непосредственной близости от площади Таксим, соответственно и рядом с метро Таксим. - находится в 10мин ходьбы от остановки автобусов Хавабас, с которой вы доберетесь до старого или нового аэропорта. - цена/качество на высоте, номера свежие, шумоизоляуция в порядке, персонал очень добродушный - в 200х метрах классная забегаловка с вкусными турецкими пирогами, где мы завтракали. Да и в целом вокруг куча заведений. Минусы: слабый вайфай, а также одну ночь пришлось ночевать без кондиционера (сломался, бывает)

Madame Roza Hotel is situated in a vibrant neighborhood of Taksim Square. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant downstairs is cheap and very good. Room service is also available and I believe it was free. All the amenities you could require can be found in or very close to the hotel. The only negative thing about this hotel is that the walls are very thin and you can hear not only your neighbors, but also those on the floors above and below you. For the price though, I think it would be hard to beat this hotel.

Die Lage dieser Unterkunft ist sehr gut. Man kommt innerhalb von wenigen Minuten zur Istiklal Straße und von dort aus sind die Anbindungen sehr gut. Vom Lärm der Istiklal hat man dort nicht viel mitbekommen. Jedoch liegt die Unterkunft direkt gegenüber zu einer Schule, weshalb es sein kann, dass man morgens von der Schulklingel geweckt wird. Uns war die Lage sehr wichtig, weshalb die Ausstattung der Unterkunft nebensächlich war. Wir haben das Zimmer im Dachgeschoss erhalten, da wir einen Balkon wollten. Man hat uns jedoch nicht vorgewarnt, dass dieses Zimmer eher ein nachträglicher Anbau ist. Niedrige Decken (auch in der Dusche) und der Balkon war sehr dreckig sowie mit Löchern versehen. Bei unserer Ankunft war das Zimmer sehr sauber. Es wurde täglich das Bad gereinigt und die Handtücher ausgewechselt. Der Boden wurde jedoch lediglich einmal nach 3 Tagen gereinigt. Für eine günstige Alternative in der Stadtmitte finde ich diese Unterkunft völlig in Ordnung. Man muss seine Ansprüche etwas runterschrauben und wenn man in Istanbul ist, geht man ohnehin nur zum Schlafen und frisch machen aufs Zimmer. Bis auf den Nachtdienst war das Personal sehr desinteressiert, dies nur als Anmerkung für das Hotel. Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn man zumindest beim Check-Out danach gefragt hätte, ob alles in Ordnung war.
