Very disgusting service from both the Marmara Taksim and Expedia. Very disappointed in both services room was very small, I paid for a deluxe city view room I got a second story view of a building, room was steaming hot the air conditioning was not working even after multiple complaints to reception and front desk, room and bathroom smelled like straight sewage, and the attitude of the people that work there was very poor. Always laughing in your face when you ask simple questions. I wouldn’t recommend neither the Marmara Taksim or Expedia!!! Find another hotel and save yourself the headache.

The Marmara is a very comfortable hotel. My room had a wonderful city side view across Taksim Square with a glimpse of the sea. Great location to get around to everything either by foot or public transport. A bonus is the great cafe/patisserie downstairs. A reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul with very good quality food, drinks and service.
