We wrapped up our renovations in early February 2022 and our condo is ready to share with you all. As we designed the color palette for this new renovation, the primary focus was to bring the colors of the outside in. We wanted it to be peaceful and serene when you walked in the door and concentrated on soft sand colors on the cabinets and various shades of blue on the island and furniture. Our very private corner unit has the most incredible ocean views, and we knew that was our focal point. The layout of the kitchen was thoughtfully planned to take advantage of the beautiful views while you cooked or made your coffee in the morning.
We wanted a relaxed, coastal island vibe and we achieved our goal!
Our 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo is located on the grounds the Omni Amelia Island Resort. We are an exclusive resort like no other, with over three miles of uncrowded beaches and countless waterways to discover. Quietly nestled among a great forest of live oaks, you’ll love exploring the numerous walking and bike paths. The resort offers a variety of shopping and restaurants within walking distance of our condo, and there’s even a miniature golf option set among the majestic live oaks. If you’re a nature lover, you’ll find an amazing variety of birds, turtles, crabs and even an occasional manatee sighting all in their natural habitat. Truly, an amazing location!
Our spacious 3rd floor condo is decorated and flows just like a home ~ to ensure that you feel comfortable during your vacation, and at the same time get that ‘I’m-in-a- luxurious-resort’ feeling! Two of the bedrooms can be considered "master suites", as they both have king-sized beds, walk-in closets, lots of additional space, and freshly-updated bathrooms. The third bedroom has 2 full-sized beds, and has it's own beautifully-updated bathroom. Our condo sits in the south corner of the Villas, so it is filled with amazing ocean views: from the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, the breakfast area, as well as the master bedroom on the south side of the condo. The condo also overlooks the villa’s pool (seasonally heated) and relaxation area and green space. We have T.V.'s in each bedroom and the living room. Our condo includes comfortable towels and our sheets are high quality, so you will rest easy! The kitchen is fully stocked with any of your cooking needs and is equipped with a Keurig single cup coffee maker, a normal drip coffee pot, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. We can add a Porta-Crib and high-chair ~ both upon request.
We try our best to keep beach chairs & umbrellas, small beach toys and other ‘beachy/pooly’ fun items in our condo’s storage closet for you to enjoy!
Please be aware that this complex does have an elevator but, when exiting the elevator, there are still about 5-7 stairs/steps to get to the actual floor where our condo door is located. If you are unable to do stairs, I would not suggest this condo for your vacation. We are not a handicap accessible complex.

With this rental, guests can enjoy access to the resort's walking and biking trails, spa, nature center, putt-putt, and more. Golf is available at many courses in Amelia Area, including Oak Marsh located on the grounds of the Omni resort. Kayak, bike and golf cart rentals are also available on a first come first serve basis. This property is NOT a rental through Omni Amelia Island Resort and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities" like the main hotel pool and fitness center, and Racquet Park which is only open to club members and their guests. While you’re free to take advantage of the on-site public amenities throughout the Resort, their pool, tennis courts and fitness center is not included with this rental (Shipwatch has their own private pool~seasonally heated). You are still able to use the restaurants, shops, and spa located on the Resort as well as the pickle ball courts and basketball court at Drummond Point Park on the property.
Shipwatch Villas layout achieves any/all social-distancing practices that you desire. The condo’s front door entrances are located in an outdoor / open-air hallway. There are elevators, but there are also open-air stairwells that provide access to all floors, as well. There is no indoor closed-entrance or common area to be concerned with in light of Covid-19. Since we are a private resort, our beaches are NEVER crowded. Cleanliness (as well as elegance and comfortability) remain our top priorities for your vacation in our condo. We are following ALL CDC guidelines, as well as Nassau County's protocol for cleanings.
