The location is great. Walking distance to the gaslamp. So many options of.food and bars. Valet is $60 a night, kind of expensive. The room was clean, quiet. I am definitely staying again in the future.

Staff can make or break the stay.
The room I stayed in was great until we used the sink or shower. I was in town for one night for a wedding. I got early check in which was great because the wedding started early. We used the room to get changed and didn’t return until later that night. The shower was draining very slow. So during the shower you would be standing in a pool of dirty water. It probably took 15-30 minutes for the water to drain. The sink drain flowed better, but once the water was off the drain made a bubbling/glugging sound for a few minutes. During the night the drain from the shower would make an obnoxious bubbling sound off and on all night into the morning. The noise made it difficult to sleep. We didn’t want to change rooms in the middle of the night so we just dealt with it. When I checked out at the front desk. I expressed the issues with the room and the staff just said “Thanks for letting us know.” I expected a little more empathy from the staff of a 4 star hotel.

It’s in downtown so it’s close to everything like restaurants, etc. I think the price was more pricey for me . When we came in the room there are things missing like toothbrushes and toothpaste, slippers, bottled water, some hotels I’ve been to have microwave but this one doesn’t. Complimentary breakfast not included for the price I paid. Valet parking is$60 per day. Well I guess I was just comparing the amenities to other hotels I’ve been to. But anyway, cleaning ladies are nice & friendly. Receptionist are very friendly too.
