We checked in and asked for room service while there. The room was also humid and hot on check-in. The thermostat read 60 degrees but the temperature was actually around 70-75 degrees. This was after 30 days without ran in Ohio so there was no reason for the room to be humid. We talked to the front desk they said they'd have maintenance look at it. 3 days later the room was still hot and humid. Stacked on with the motion sensor on the thermostat it would be become even hotter making it difficult to sleep. We left 3 days into our 6 day stay. Not once did room service come clean our room. Not even just emptying the trash. Room was clean on check-in and unless you had the fan on you can hear the highway.

The hotel is nice and it's OK for a late night overnight, but there is NOTHING surrounding the place. Also the parking lot is very small, so if you're towing something, good luck. I parked in the closed restaurant next door, thankfully I had a view of it. Pretty sketchy area. But the hotel itself seems brand new - very nice; clean.

Booked a two queen room for my three kids and I. Arrived to find out they gave me a king, proceeded back to the front desk and asked them for the room I booked with two queens, was told I booked an accessible room and they don’t have that rooms that are accessible with two queen beds. I said that was fine and just needed a regular room with two queens and I just selected online whatever room they had listed and the front desk clerk proceeded to tell me they couldn’t accommodate that and they were fully booked and that they upgraded me to a king suite instead. It was ok but my two teen boys had to sleep on a really thin pull out couch mattress.

We stayed the night after a day at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. When we arrived around 4:30pm, there was no one at the front desk for several minutes. The room was nice, however was a piece of candy left on the floor from a previous guest and the carpet under the mini fridge was pulled away from the wall. The mini fridge itself took several hours to get cold. The pool was small. It would feel crowded with more than 5 people in it. The water took some time to get used to and there was no changing/toilet area. The continental breakfast was ok. There were make your own waffles, prepackaged break muffin sandwiches and prepackaged quiches alone with cereal, fruit, muffins and breads. Overall it was comfortable, but not exceptional.

Four people stayed in the room. We needed an extra blanket, but they were out. The sofa combed mattress was very old and needed to be replaced immediately. The mattress had uneven springs, and it was totally uncomfortable.

Extra effort should have been made
They didn’t allow pets. I booked the room 9 months in advance thinking they allowed pets. Even declared we would have a dog. They replied with a message. I never noticed it. Something that important and the fact that the booking remained would warrant a phone call or something. We were there for a big dog show of 800+ dogs. We were in serious danger of having no room available to stay in for 3 days. We got lucky and were able to find one 30 minutes from the venue. I better not be charged for a room we weren’t able to stay in.
