Be aware--this is NOT Paamonim Hotel. It is a separate apartment run by the same people, 6 min walk from the hotel. I made a mistake of booking the apartment by reading good reviews about the hotel. Ground floor unit in the apartment where we stayed should NOT be rented. It is in the basement with no ventilation with two small openings facing the alley nestled in the religious neighborhood. You'd smell mold and mildew from moist trapped in the unit as soon as you step inside. Mixed with bleach used for cleaning, this unit feels and smells like a very damp basement storage. Management needs to consider a dehumidifier and ventilation system to rent out. Current AC unit only blows onto the bed and does not solve the problem. It gets very noisy with the neighbors gathering, singing, and reciting the Torah together all night especially if you need to keep the basement windows. We had two sleepless nights.
In addition, you need to call the hotel reception for any help and response is slow. Three of us booked for two nights and only two sets of towels and one bottle of shampoo/conditioner and no extra toilet paper provided. It took me 3 phone calls to obtain the requested items on the second night. When you meet the hotel staff in person, they are friendly and helpful. I believe that how the hotel manages apartment units needs to be improved.
