We had a great stay! We’ve been to the crossroads plenty of times for their lobby bar and rooftop bar during the summer but this was our first time staying in a room and it was super nice. We loved how the crossroads was close to plenty of fun places we could walk too.

Here are the things I liked. 1. All the staff were very friendly and diverse. 2. The building and rooms themselves are decorated well and beds are comfortable. Disliked: 1. Carpet was ripped badly in room so it was the first thing I saw when walking in. 2. Very little bathroom amenities considering cost of room.3. walls are very thin.4. parking is overpriced

Stay in Dec2022 was fantastic so decided to stay again in Feb2026 for an unexpected visit to KC to attend funeral services. We booked a suite and were given a room that was right above the restaurant. We asked for something higher up but was told it was the only room left upon checking in around 530pm. The hotel looked empty. Upon entry to our room we noticed there were no windows except in the bathroom. Carpet and furniture had significant stains, etching of graffiti in the wood beams, etc. This all was not a big deal for us, the issue was the smell. The restaurant runs late and starts early. Our room was filled with fried, garlic, onion, etc smell the entire stay. This was unfortunate when attending funeral services over 2 days in dress clothes and seeing a lot of people. Our clothes smelled, we smelled like the restaurant food. Not what we wanted to deal after paying so much for our stay. Beware, the 2nd floor room (288) smells and run down with no windows.
