Book Kerrisdale hotels

We chose to stay here due to the proximity to parts of the Rail Trail. Room was very clean. We chose the verandah room. It was upstairs. Our son chose another room which was downstairs. No direct access to the verandah from our room but there’s a door next to our room that can be used to gain access. Large shower with two shower heads. Swivel TV that can be viewed from the bed or the lounge chairs. Beautiful wooden floorboards. Plenty of bedding with crisp top and bottom sheets and warm quilts. Keys to the room and the door to the top floor are in a lock box near the external staircase. There’s also an internal staircase to the restaurant/bar area. On Tuesday and Wednesday evenings the restaurant serves Indian food. I don’t know what they serve the other nights. Car parking is off street, at the side of the hotel. There’s also a courtyard next to the car park with plenty of tables and chairs. Staff kindly warmed up my son’s pizza (which he had brought from home) because there’s no microwaves in the individual hotel rooms. Our verandah room must have been above the restaurant. We could hear the music but it wasn’t too loud and it didn’t go too late. Hotel is on a suburban street, near a park, just a block away from the main shopping strip. There’s also a wetland area nearby with boardwalks, ponds etc which we walked around after dinner.

We found this beautiful property to stay with friends over the Comedy in the Vines weekend. We were absolutely delighted with the property and its amenities. Wonderfully clean and a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. The views are outstanding and the swimming pool a plus. The property manager was brilliant and very accommodating and swift to reply to any of our questions or requests. Thank you.

I am always a little concerned about staying at motels, had some bad experiences. This was not one of them. Friendly staff, very clean rooms and just a nice place to kick back and chill. My only bit of feedback to management would be the cleaning smell in the room. It was a bit overpowering for most of the stay and we left the door open whenever there. But overall 5/5!
