While the property itself was clean, provided adequate space, and was conveniently located, Vacasa made our experience memorably bad. We drove in from out of state with a full size suv and cargo topper. We were not informed of a parking clearance limitation until the day before check in (well after cx window had passed!); I’ve triple checked all emails. Given that the map showed a surface lot next door, I figured we’d be able to use our pass for the lot as we’d done at other places. We arrived to find that the entire surface lot is now a construction zone. No surface lot parking (and it also lengthened the walk to the gondola—it’s about a 5-10min walk, definitely not a ski in ski out property any longer). Long story short, i spent the better part of a day and a half trying to get someone at Vacasa to provide the parking promised, to no avail. I made multiple phone calls, was promised that multiple messages were left for the local manger to call me back, and zero assistance was provided. Keystone Resorts eventually graciously found us a solution while local Vacasa management couldn’t be bothered to even make contact. The first part of Vacasa’s tagline is “book confidently…” and I can assure you that i will never book a Vacasa property again because i have no confidence in their services, integrity, or care for their customers’ experience. The listing should be revised to reflect up to date circumstances and I’d highly recommend the owner reconsider their management.
