The hotel was in great shape. My only real complaint was the houselessness around the hotel and general area is still pretty rough. Didn't feel super safe at times. Also, the restaurant attached to the hotel was under staffed and offered very average food with a bar that was under supplied and person who literally didn't know how to make a martini.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We happened to visit shortly after the election, and learned from a local restaurant that many businesses had chosen to board their doors and windows (I guess Portland got crazy in 2020). However this did not detract from our experience. There is plenty to walk to and enjoy in the area. We particularly loved St. Honoré Boulangerie just up the street, along with Powell’s a few blocks beyond that. We are generally city folk who enjoy walkability. We did have a car though and the parking at the hotel made it super easy - we felt we could access our car whenever we needed it, though we only ventured once to check out the Alberta Arts District. Overall, an absolutely lovely stay and visit. The suites are definitely worth it. We felt like royalty having a bit of extra space, and the design makes you feel truly somewhere other than just “a hotel”. Highly highly recommend!

This hotel is super clean and has a really cool style to it! We really enjoyed the eclectic style of the rooms. We had three people so it was nice to have two beds and a pull out couch. There was also a divider that could be closed to separate the bedroom from the living room. The room was large which was also nice with three people sharing it. Overall, we really enjoyed this hotel and would highly reccommend!

So many things I love about this place. Friendly staff, bold decor, large rooms, clean, convenient to shopping and restaurants. There's also an onsite restaurant and a great coffee shop on the same block. I've stayed at Sonesta and many boutique hotels in downtown Portland. This one is my favorite.

The room was nice and clean and the people at the front desk were very helpful. Overall a good stay with no complaints about the room or location. I do wish they'd had more information about the room service policies though. You have to give them 24 hours notice if you want room service which is fine but this was never mentioned on check in and there were no signs anywhere letting you know the policy. Also just as an FYI, the $15 you get per day for your stay to spend on something does not accumulate. It is per day so you either use it or lose it.

Everything about the hotel was cute and quirky. It was a nice change from a bland, beige hotel experience. Staff was friendly and helpful! There was easy paid parking lots down the street, so walkable. SO many fun food carts in the area. Shower probably needed to be cleaned but honestly the rest was clean and awesome.
