I had a really great stay at this place. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the facilities were top-notch. The location was perfect, with easy access to amenities, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The bar area was cozy, and I especially appreciated the dog-friendly space—definitely a highlight!"
We had a two night stay as were attending a family wedding. Accommodation was excellent as was the breakfast and evening meal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating
Will definitely return to explore the area.
What a wonderful find Wenns was! We stayed overnight for a family celebration- our ‘room’ which was actually a suite was massive! Lovely comfy bed and clean modern bathroom with great shower and separate bath. We had breakfast the following morning and that was superb too. Staff were friendly and helpful and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!
Surprisingly large and well laid out. Decent bar and restaurant under the accommodation. No breakfast as advertised but it’s next door to a cafe so that’s not a problem. Very pleasant stay.
The apartment was really nice and spacious.
Excellent location and staff very nice especially Rick who was very proffesional and always willing to help!!Would definately recommend.Thank you for an lovely trip.👍
It was a real gem.
Our room was more like an apartment with numerous windows looking out to the Minster.
There was parking overnight at a reasonable price in the parking spaces opposite.
Breakfast was lush, and it was a shame we couldn't stay for dinner.
The bathroom was stunning. We used the Japanese spa bath, and the walk in shower was huge. Plenty of hot water.
We came for a birthday party, but will be back to stay for a weekend visit!
We only stayed here for one night as part of a bigger trip but I'd love to have stayed for longer. From the moment we pulled up into the historic Saturday market place I knew we were onto a good thing. We were given a warm welcome by the staff and given a tour of our room the facilities and decor was great. Warm, clean and cosy. The restaurant downstairs is also brilliant, delicious local food and a great choice of drinks. Highly recommended and we will be back.
Location opposite the Abbey and in the High Street was very convenient plus low rate car parks. Our Rush Suite was brilliant with good size bedroom and bathroom plus lounge/kitchen. A warm welcome greeted us and the food on offer was good quality. We were very pleased to have stayed Wenns!
The only change that is required is better lighting in the bathroom, sadly I could barely see to shave and now being a contact lens wearer has trouble using the mirror
