The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good as well. I did not try the pool/hot tub but from the window it looked decent and bright. The room lacked usb connections to facilitate technology charging. The overall room was worn with poorly patched walls, obvious wear on the bathtub, and wall coverings. There was hair in the bed that was a different colour and length of my own, I slept above the flat sheet. I felt the room was over priced for the quality, but the people were helpful and the breakfast had better than most in what was offered and palatability.

Breakfast was simple but okay. Bring back the make your own Belgian waffles! Room was musty with a water stain on the carpet by the bathroom. Clearly a leak that has not been addressed.

We liked nothing about the property, unless you like peeling wallpaper, tiles falling of the bathroom wall, black mold around the tub, ancient analog heat and air controls, and a steel bar sticking out from the bed that cut my leg.

A day of happiness!
Here visiting the African lion safari, with my son, very pleased with the hotel, very clean and organized, awesome breakfast , wonderful service from the desk to the cleaning. I definitely will be back her and I would recommend anyone to try it, very, very pleased and happy. Thank you all for the hard work!!

The staff was lovely. The breakfast was good. The room was old and dirty. Mildew everywhere in the bathroom. I am shocked that the ratings are as high as they are. The price was outrageous for the quality of the hotel. I do not recommend.

The room had fly’s in the sitting room, washroom and dead flies in the bedroom. Horrible experience in the morning when there was no water to shower. Water was later fixed but it affected my day at a company conference as I could not shower.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered in North America and was closer to something I would expect in a cheap hotel in the developing world. When I arrived I was informed that the water was soon to be shut off and would not resume until 7 am. Further, I was not allowed to use the toilet during this period. I was provided with a bottle of water to wash and brush my teeth. When I called customer service and asked what I was supposed to do about the toilet the agent suggested to me that I should “drive around and see if there is a restaurant that will let you use theirs”. The room had a back door that clearly had been kicked in previously. I bolted it but was awakened at 3 am by someone rattling it. After the noise eventually subsided I looked out and observed that an individual in a hoodie was going down the line of rooms checking them all. At 5:30 am I was awakened again by hotel staff engaged in a loud political discussion about 100 feet from my door. After several calls with customer service I was told I would be credited $70 off of my $170 room stay. This has never been applied. On check out the surly front desk attendance studiously avoided asking how my stay was. She knew perfectly well it was awful. This place should be condemned.

Saved by the hot tub
We had three heavy work days (out of town) and this hotel was a great place to land each night. The hot tub soothed our tired & achy bodies, the bed & room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was a more than enough fuel to set us off ready to tackle the next day.
