The Requa Inn offers a great breakfast with views of the Klamath river. We watched seals and a black bear from their dining room while we enjoyed a pancake breakfast. It is located in a very remote area so you can plan on traveling 20 minutes to get to Crescent city for dinner but it is worth it for the property.
The Historic Requa Inn is just that! A beautiful Historic inn set in a location with a view overlooking the river. Here, one can explore the area or set back with a book and relax! and the food on site was delicious!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Requa Inn! It’s a great location if you’re planning on visiting Redwood National and State Parks. Our room was perfect, it had all the space we needed and loved that it had so many windows so we could enjoy the view of the river! The staff was kind and very helpful and the breakfast was delicious (although not included!). We would definitely stay here again.
The property itself was amazing, I love stepping back into the past. The natural hardwood floors and claw foot tubs were great. At night we were woken up several times by barking dogs. There are families that live right up the hill from the Inn that clearly leave the dogs outside all day/night. We didn’t stay long enough for the breakfast, but we heard it was highly recommended. If we ever come back through Klamath, CA we will stay here.
Taking a step back in time, this lovely old Inn was cozy and staff delightful. Our hostess, Cass, offered information about the area and was alert to our needs. Living spaces made it easy to meet other guests, but still have privacy. We'll be back!!
I have stayed here twice and its amazing. No kids are allowed so its quiet. The hot tub is wonderful after hiking all day. You won't find a better place on the coast to stay. Well worth the cost.
Beautiful place in a beautiful position
We were disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open( when Expedia website said it was) which impacted our evening as there aren’t many options nearby even if you’re happy to drive around
Nice, historic hotel. Get the rooms to the front of hotel for view of Klamath river. Price of room is a little deceptive because it does not list $45 cleaning fee and multiple taxes and usage fee until checkout when booking. Overall nice stay.
Lovely Inn and perfect location on the river to see Redwoods to South and North. Inn keeper Cass is fun and fabulous. Breakfast, you pay for, and is delicious. The Inn has lots of games and puzzles a great room to hang out in and meet other travelers. Don’t skip the ‘trees if mystery’ go early to avoid crowds.. touristy but a fun hour.
Beautiful historic inn overlooking a lake. Each room beautifully appointed with antique furniture and decorations yet still with an updated bathroom hit matching the room. We didn’t have time to have coffee, tea, wine, or enjoy the breakfast, but it looked like it was wonderful. Highly recommend!
The hotel is located in quiet remote area. Building and facilities are not new and modern, but well maintained and the classic taste was right up my alley. The public areas in hotel have many windows. The bright atmosphere and beautiful view through them was lovely.
