From our arrival, things were less than optimal. To start, there was a long wait at check in. It was as if there was no room available for us and the system wasn’t letting the front desk staff check us in.
We went to our room. The lights on either side of the bed wouldn’t turn on and there was no reception on the tv, which said “no internet connection.”
We went down to have dinner in the restaurant and sat for 25 minutes before anyone came to take our order, while numerous other tables, who arrived after us, were served as we waited.
The young man who ultimately took care of us was wonderful, once he realized what had happened.
Then, I took a shower and there were hairs on the wall of the shower (not mine).
All in all, it was not the best experience we’ve had at a hotel, especially at that price. I won’t be quick to return.
And to boot, when I checked the rates for the same room on the same day, it was about $80 cheaper.
