"Pinkerton" is a secluded and tranquil farm stay at Koorwatha, situated half-way between Cowra and Young in country NSW. Nestled amongst rolling hills with breath-taking views, perfect for an Artist's retreat.
Nearby attractions include Hotel Koorawatha for drinks and meals; the majestic Koorawatha Falls; and the historic Iandra Castle.
Quiet scenic roads for long walks, bike rides or Sunday drives. If you are wanting to check out of the hustle and bustle, this hidden gem is for you.
The space
"Pinkerton" sleeps up to 7 people. 2 main bedrooms are of generous size and are furnished with comfortable queen beds. The 3rd bedroom contains a single bed and two generous desk spaces (NBN WIFI). The 4th bedroom has external access or access through the 3rd bedroom and contains a single bed with separate trundle bed if required. The living and dining room adjoin each other, both with polished timber floors and modern country décor. A slow combustion fireplace is available for heating and ambiance, complimented by a split system air-conditioning unit if required. The spacious country kitchen is north facing and has plenty of room for meal preparation, with electric oven, cooktop and dishwasher. The updated bathroom contains a shower, vanity and toilet, while a second toilet is available within the home.

The cottage is positioned on a rise and overlooks the valley below, providing spectacular views. The back yard includes a deck and BBQ, while the front verandah is perfect for sitting with a glass of wine and taking in the views.
Guest access
All of the house yard is available and would be happy for guests to walk around the farm on the provision all gates are closed as its a working sheep farm.
There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a microwave. We will be back
The house is situated on a hill overlooking picturesque sheep farms and hills. We used the fire pit outside each night and enjoyed the tranquility and views with a glass (or two) of wine. It was good having a full kitchen to cook our evening meals and during the day get out and explore the area.

At a beautiful location with extensive views across the valley to the east, this property provided a quiet couple of days with birdlife (and TV if needed) to entertain us. The house is spacious and comfortably furnished inside and out. Pub meals at Koorawatha are good, and close enough.

Great country escape
Lovely comfortable, clean house and beds. Great views and fireplace prepared for lighting and wood supplied. Fantastic for a relaxing country escape. Everything you could ask for in kitchen incl plenty of tea and coffee pods and long life milk. Ben was very approachable and had plans he could offer when the road to property was blocked by fallen tree. We didn't have to use plan B or C as we were able to clear road enough to get through but felt assured Ben could have given options. Thanks Ben
