If what you want is to spend your days all out and about in Railay Beach and have a comfortable room to come back to, this spot is ok for that. It’s well located and easy to get to from the east Railay pier, close to a walking street to get to west Railay. If you’re looking to hang by the pool or have a nice bar/restaurant, this isn’t really the place. Pools at other resorts we went by were much nicer in regards to condition, view, amenities, etc. and had nice on-site places to eat and drink. Anyavee doeshave a nice buffet breakfast if you want, it’s about $8 USD and the only time you can eat onsite. The staff was ok, a bit cold, made me feel like I was inconveniencing them if I had a question, but ok.
We had a bungalow which was definitely the way to go. It was beautiful and gave us privacy, other than from the monkeys that roam around all the time. The A/C worked well and cooked doesn’t the space quickly. WiFi worked. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The water pressure was terrible and at times non-existent for the faucet/shower/toilet. If we waited a couple minutes or so, it would usually start working.
Overall, this place does the job, but has opportunities. The bungalows are beautiful and clean, but If you’re just looking for a place to crash, or someplace to spend a lot of time at a resort with amenities, you could find a better value or fit.
