Beautiful hotel right on the river but our room was right beside the bridge and it was very noisy. So noisy you could only sit on the balcony with noise cancelling headphones. We had to play rain and thunder white noise to drown out the traffic noise.

The good - location and river terrace. The bad - no toilet paper in the room on arrival. Problem with the lifts. Private party took over the pool / river terrace with paying guests shunted to the inferior wing pool. Using guest's deposits as working capital (two weeks to refund)...Not the experience i would expect from this respected brand.

overall the property felt outdated and worn. We booked a king bed and they put two twin mattresses together that had a crack down the middle making it uncomfortable to sleep in. When we arrived the mini fridge wasn't working so we couldn't enjoy a refreshment. The blanket on our bed was basically a thick sheet and not a proper blanket. There are so many better options to stay in bangkok that we cannot recommend this property.

Some oversight in rooms management as rooms prebooked 3 weeks ago was not ready on arrival at 11pm needing wait of extra 1.5 hour until past midnight when we're exhausted through air travel. Overall, the room was spotless except for one day in which our room was not made up by Housekeeping. The concierge and other staff were extremely courteous and respectful.

The room and facilities were nice and clean. The room itself was a little dated but everything worked. I think it just needs a little refresh. One wing of the hotel is quite a trek from the primary lobby. This may be an issue for people with mobility issues. The grounds were impeccable and the gym / pool clean. It is located next to a very busy road though so some rooms may get noisy. Breakfast was good and the staff wonderful.

Great location next to express boat pier and bts. Amazing room and view. Pool area perfect after a hot morning exploring. Staff service exceptional.
