Nice and clean hotel. My only problem is that they dont clean your room everyday due to them promoting eco friendly policies. But they do hang new towels and water by the door each day

Perfect hotel!
This is a wonderful hotel - we had a fantastic stay. The hotel is calm and welcoming and smells amazing. The amenities available were lovely and the living lobby is too. Kind and helpful staff, and the hotel is not too big so even though it was busy it maintained its calm vibe. Altogether a lovely hotel, would love to have stayed longer.

We loved our stay here! The hotel was very conveniently located. We could walk to many attractions and restaurants or take a short walk to the train station for destinations a bit further away. This was the perfect location and the hotel itself was beautiful. The staff were very welcoming as well. I definitely recommend.

Perfect location & customer service impeccable!
It was in the perfect location- although I must say, for whatever reason, taxis and Ubers would not drop off at the hotel instead the hotel down the block. The room was as authentic as the photos. The amenities were above and beyond. Thank you for being super helpful, and accommodating on our trip. Will definitely come back to stay at Hotel Resol in future if in Kyoto!

Overall good stay, need more lighting
Hotel and staff were great, good location, there is fresh free coffee in the morning, nice design. Bed an pillows were comfortable. 2 things to comment: 1. Room was quiet dark, I would more lighting, 2. In order to be a green hotel they offer you to not clean every day and provide you with towels and amenities needed, that is ok by me but I would prefer even just garbage pickup and not to keep untill next cleaning day, overall good money to value hotel
