The staff is very help with dining and transportation recommendations. Very friendly and pleasant. The location of the hotel is SUPER within walking distance to a few major attractions. Facility is very well maintained and rooms are super clean. Will stay again.

Customer service was excellent. We were there visiting kyoto on our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience at the hotel. We definitely recommend getting their breakfast buffet! We’ll be back soon.

The bakery in lobby had amazing options and always smelled amazing in the morning. It was also very close to a few r temples and was walking distance to various restaurants and other attractions.

Overall excellent property. Nice lobby. Appears they change the art installations frequently . Few quirks they take away the water from the lobby in the evenings. Also the bakery opens at 8 am. Would be ideal if opened earlier. Excellent rooftop.

This is truly one of the nicest hotels that we have ever stayed at. The staff are all very kind, the facilities are all very intentional, clean, sleek, and add to the experience. Our room was lovely, the steam shower especially was a huge highlight to decompress after a big day of exploring Kyoto. It is very easy to walk to train and bus stops and get around most of Kyoto. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! A big highlight of our journey in Japan so far.

The property was beautiful and the rooms were large. Also, service was wonderful - hotel reception helped us book a last minute dinner reservation. Most (if not all) employees spoke English. The only downsides were that the breakfast was quite expensive and the lobby music was a little loud for my taste. Location is wonderful if visiting Kiyomizudera and the Gion area. All in all, great property and service. The hotel will give you a ticket for a bus ride to the Kyoto station. It was nice to do that rather than pay for a taxi.
