Absolutely loved this hotel. The location was fantastic, easy walking to the station with our bags, but also walking to the tourist sites, restaurants and shops around it. Booked a room with the loft bunks. So spacious, even had a lounge area and table to sit at. The kids loved the bunks and the space to have bags out, space to hang coats and to hang out after long days etc. The hotel provides a kitchen and lounge space which was great to have our breakfast at, and I saw others eating take away food for dinner in there as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the space in the room, cleanliness, polite staff and great location.

Seriously though.
Wonderful shared kitchen / reading spot, unique room with bunk-nooks, friendly staff, incredibly clean, all with a modern clean artsy minimalist vibe. Location allows you to wander endlessly through amazing streets packed with great food and amazing stores. Breakfast option is a YES. Highly recommended!

Great location. Near to Nishiki market and walking distance to subway. Good for family. Even has a bathtub big enough for my 7 yr old. Room is a little small for a family of 4.

Spacious and cool
We stayed in a Superior Loft room which was very spacious and comfortable for 3-4 people. Hotel is in a great location and walkable to lots of places of interest. Close to plenty of shops, restaurants and subway but in a quiet street away from the big crowds. Cool, calm and quiet space to relax in at the end of a busy day, with very friendly service.

Great hotel with an original concept whose wonderful staff is so helpful and kind. It offers lovely healthy breakfasts, clean and comfortable rooms, located in a cool neighborhoods.

The style and atmosphere of this hotel was great and the location made it very easy for us to get around. It's not super close to a metro/train but it's still walkable and there are a lot of things to do/eat/shop within walking distance too. I was really happy with our room; it was the largest of the 4 hotels we stayed at during our visit. I'd note that the cafe/restaurant inside the hotel wasn't so impressive. You can't sit there if only one of you is getting food and drink, you're made to both order something and everything is way overpriced (>AU$8.00 for a little glass of ginger ale, with a plastic straw which isn't cool).

We had a great stay here with 2 young kids. The breakfast was exceptional and I'd highly recommend trying it atleast once in your stay. It needs to be booked the day before so make sure you book in advance as the slots book out. About 8 mins walk to train stations (that are about 3 stops away from Kyoto station) and to the main shops. Would highly recommend staying here.

Stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly, and the room were clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The only thing to fault was the dryer as it didn’t dry the clothes in 1 hour but not a deal breaker.
