The Historic W.W. Withee House was constructed in 1897 for W.W. Withee, a La Crosse lumberman and president of the Security Savings Bank. The home is a significant example of one of the few brick interpretations of the Queen Anne style and is one of the few remaining well preserved mansions built by the lumber barons who made La Crosse history. The original home included a bowling alley in the basement (which still exists and is being restored!) and a ballroom on the third floor - where this suite is located!
Please be respectful and mindful of other guests and of the home. Access to the 3rd floor suite will be through the front entrance and shared hallway and approximately 35 stairs lead up to the top. We will provide you with a keypad entry code for your stay in Suite 4.
*Please note size of shower. It is very small and at a strange slant. Most will have to slightly crouch while using.
Also, this is an old, historic home. The floors will creak in spots!*
