Very cute property, easily walkable to restaurants and bars, but removed by just a few blocks to be quiet. Our room had a great view of the water as the bedroom was on the top floor and we felt like we can keep the curtains open. Breakfast was excellent and made to order. Love the concept of the honor bar though we didn't take advantage of it. The only thing to be aware of is that they don't supply shampoo and conditioner, which I was surprised by given the price of the room. I called front desk and was told they did not supply it, which was a tough inconvenience as I didn't learn it until returning from an excursion and my hair was full of salt and sand.

The grounds are incredibly beautiful, but the rooms are very dark. We ran out of hot water twice in our short stay. It felt like the breakfasts were carefully portioned out as to not give too much. I did receive more on request without any trouble. I guess I am used to European buffet style where you eat as much as you want. The staff were very helpful and nice but a little stiff and more distant than what I like. All and all a wonderful place, great location, wonderful grounds, but I would not stay there if I were spending a lot of time in the room due to the darkness.

The rooms are beautiful. Breakfasts are delicious! You can walk the malecón to all the restaurants and bars. Laura who checked us in and made breakfasts made sure we were comfortable.

Everything was very good the only thing that I would like to mention is that the room we stayed in was very enclosed and this could be the cause for a very damp smell throughout the room. very musty the smell was very strong, there are no windows to air out the smell.
