I became ill after eating the crab cake sliders, which unfortunately impacted my entire stay. I spent the night in bed, grappling with sharp abdominal pain. While I appreciate that they compensated me for the meal, I was unable to enjoy any of the amenities, and my kids had to witness this unpleasant experience.

My family, along with two of my best girlfriends and their families, decided to book a weekend getaway at Gaylord for the Christmas festivities. We participated in many of the holiday activities, which were truly magical. Most of the staff were great, and the front desk team was absolutely phenomenal. However, my experience took a turn when my son and I went swimming. At first glance, the pool seemed fine, but once we got in, it was disgusting. The filters were murky brown, as if they hadn’t been cleaned in years, and the water was salty and gritty—an absolute nightmare. Additionally, there was a pile of trash on my floor near the elevator that remained untouched throughout our stay. No one came to retrieve it, and many guests took photos and made comments, suggesting they had reported it to the hotel staff, but nothing was done. On top of that, parking was $43 per day, and I was charged for Wi-Fi. Considering the high costs, it felt like we were paying Disney World prices for a local experience. Overall, while the festivities were wonderful, the cleanliness and value for the price left much to be desired. I likely wouldn’t stay there again, as the Residence Inn and Westin offer better rates and are much cleaner.

We had an amazing time at the Gaylord National Harbor! We stayed here to attend ICE and it was nothing short of amazing! Only downside was the crowd. It was a bit overwhelming especially at the pool. I can understand the crowd size due to their event. I could have gone earlier to avoid the influx. Food was just okay.

I loved the amount of activities inside the hotel to broaden the stay especially for the kids. The activities were expensive so it would have been nice to have discounts for paying guests. The parking was expensive to add for each day & not convenient to unload unless you paid even more for valet/concierge services. All staff were pleasant & helpful given the busyness of the stay with the holiday.
