Book La Ribera hotels

My family of 11, including 4 children ages 9 months to 10 years, just spent 10 days at this property. The house has so much to recommend it, as well as a few issues that are hopefully being fixed. First, the positives! The location is incredible. Just a short walk to the beach in front or a short drive to the public beach in La Ribera. Cabo Pulmo or Los Barriles are also a reasonable drive away. La Ribera has several small markets and an ATM. It's a very quiet and beautiful area. The house itself is large and comfortable with multiple decks to enjoy. It is very well appointed with everything you could wish to use in the kitchen and a washer/dryer. In addition, there is a separate "casita" (really a large second living space) that was great for the little kids, who needed to nap during the day. There were boogie boards and SUPs provided for use. Now for the detractions... there were a few things in the house that didn't work well during our stay. There was no warm water in the kitchen or the master shower. We were also told the grill didn't work. The downstairs shower didn't drain properly. Perhaps most importantly for our family, the Wifi didn't work in the casita - which was a problem for whoever had to stay in there for the babies' naps as some of us didn't have cell coverage. I was able to communicate these concerns to the owner, who assured us that they would be addressed. You may just want to check before renting if these would be issues for you.

Peaceful, beautiful.

We had a wonderful time. Our host Gina was responsive and a pleasure. She made us feel welcomed with little unexpected extras. The house is clean and fully stocked. Beds are as comfortable as a 5 star hotel. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Access to the beach it right outside the back door. The spa and pool are clean and in working order. The property manager Ramon was available for anything we needed. Thank you again Gina for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

Pristine beach with the clearest water. You are likely to see animals before you find another human as you walk the beach and drive in your SxS. When a vacation with 6 kids is peaceful you know you’ve found a gem! This house is perfectly stocked and the layout is ideal. We visited during turtle nesting season and we were able to witness this magical process. The towns are truly local and special. It’s an authentic experience all around. Hiking, snorkeling, paddleboarding…Every activity at your finger tips. We felt spoiled all week and would definitely go back. The owner and caretaker were always available and went above and beyond in helping us make the best of the house and exploring what the area had to offer.

My wife and I wanted to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and picked this beautiful house located outside La Ribera on the beach near Cabo. We were extremely impressed with how open the main room was, the size of the bedrooms, pool, and cleanliness of the property. Our host, Eva-Marie, included a booklet of information for everything we could think of. From how to operate everthing in the house like the TVs, WiFi, HotTub to things to do (restaurants, fishing, groceries, etc.) around La Ribera. That was great to help us get around and try all the community had to offer. Make sure you have a star/constellation viewing app on your mobile/tablet as the night sky is amazing. There is little to no light pollution in the area and the night sky is filled with stars. It's an amazing sight! We had a fantastic time and can't wait for our next adventure. if you're looking for a great get-a-way where your biggest decision of the morning is "do I get in the pool or the ocean", I would highly recommend The Serene Jewel on the Sea of Cortez!! Our only regret was not having Chef Efrin (from Eva-Marie's welcome booklet) come and prepare us a meal earlier during our stay or we would have had him come and prepare more!! It was fantastic.

We loved our short stay here. The hosts were kind, communicative and welcoming.
