A wonderful, very historic, boutique hotel. We were following the Tour de France and chose this place more for location than anything. However, upon arrival we realized that the hotel is a treasure and we should have stayed for 2 or 3 days. Wonderful host, great breakfast, excellent location.

Unexpectedly decadent
A wonderful place to stay. Rooms were amazing, with an eclectic mix of decor and ornaments. Breakfast was plentiful with a range of options. Hugely knowledgeable and interesting host, who gave great advice. Great place to stay. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

Wow the museum .
Hotel was certainly different, we’ve never seen so many antiques in one place . Owner was excellent so friendly and helpful . Breakfast was great .

Looks great but not very comfortable, disappointed
This boutique B&B looked fabulous but was not practical at all. We wondered if we had upset the host as he was not friendly on arrival but next morning seemed to warm to us. The bedroom doors do not lock, the internet did not work, there was 1 plug socket in room, curtain pole fell down when trying to close curtains, husband did not fit under the shower. The town is beautiful but I think hotels.com should make it known that the hotel does not offer dinner & out of season it is slim pickings in the town, if you arrived after 9 then you would go hungry!

Bertrand and Greg are extraordinary hosts. They have done remarkable work in restoring this old villa. Very welcoming, helpful, and considerate. Our favorite stay during our one month French expedition.

What a great place to stay. Bertrand made us very welcome when we arrived and throughout our stay. Even playing the piano during breakfast to entertain us! Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and fresh croissants and bread from the local boulangerie. Our toddler enjoyed the garden which has geese, chickens and a fish pond. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time at the Villa Des Remparts. Bertrand is a kind and welcoming host. The rooms are individually decorated and the breakfast was delicious. It is very good value for money!

What a find! We so enjoyed our stay here, the property is wonderfully quirky and over the top, but also very quiet and comfortable. Loved the house and the gardens are amazing. Would stay here again - no question.

Cette maison d'hôte a tout pour m'enchanter. J'y reviens dès que je passe dans la région tant j'aime ce lieu. Excellent accueil, discussions enrichissantes et passionnantes, repas excellent et copieux comme le petit déjeuner. Un lit tellement confortable qu'on voudrait y rester et au réveil, une vue magnifique et reposante sur le jardin. Tout dans ce lieu est décoré avec goût: c'est un bonheur
