Pretty grungy stay
Booked a pet friendly room, when we got there they said it wasn’t booked as pet friendly. They were able to change the room but they themselves stated “the room is not good and not renovated”. The room smelled so bad like smoking. The heater had old dryer sheets tucked in it. The bathroom was not clean. There were flys everywhere in the room. The lamp had been written on with marker by someone. In the morning to check out I waited at the counter for 15 minutes with no service. There was no bell or anyway to call staff to the desk. Overall not good.

The staff were AMAZING. If you are looking for a simple hotel with great customer service, you need to stay at the Almac.

It was a convenient place for the night while my dog was at the vet. The room was nice, quiet for the most part. There is train tracks nearby, but I only heard it twice and it wasn't super late or super early in the morning so not an inconvenience. Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Really age stone old property depsite in renovation process. The room didn't have cloth hangers. Air cond only cam set at 67F, temperature adjustment will trip the unit. Difficult to adjust shower water temperature. Toilet bowl requires numerous flushing otherwise cannot be flush. Toilet bowl has disgusting black marks that never flushed. The door chain lock felt off immediately after entered the room.

Well worth the money
The room was very clean and smelt fresh. The service was wonderful and the manager very helpful. Wifi was having issues however the manager took care of things and went above and beyond. I was very greatful.
