We were greeted by very gracious, friendly staff and there is easy parking. That said, I have to be honest and state the reason the parking is easy is that the motel is the only thing around. It is quiet because there isn’t anything to bother you. When we pulled in, we were a little uncomfortable, but it was completely fine. The room was lovely! New furniture, comfortable bed. Mini fridge with actual small freezer with its own door. New flooring. There were two things that kept us from giving 5 stars. The room had a very distinct smoke smell. It was not overpowering, but you could tell it had been covered up when renovated instead of ripped out. The bathtub had been painted instead of replaced. We slept well and checked out easily. Hopefully they will correct these issues and you will have a 5 star stay!!

I booked that place due to its reviews which are probably fake. I booked a non-smoking room. The room I got smelled like a ashtray. It was dirty. Sticky floor in the bathroom, for sure it was not cleaned. There was even blood on the door frame to the bathroom, which has been tried clean off. When I wanted to ask for another room, no one was at the front desk available. I just left the place then and looked somewhere else to stay.

Second time we've stayed here, and may be our new go-to stay when visiting family in Lafayette. In a neighborhood right off of the highway, so it's very easy to get places while still offering cleanliness, simplicity, quiet and seclusion

The room was very clean with a remodeled bathroom. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. A lot of space for parking. Truck parking for Truckers that is passing through.

There was a couple fighting the whole night and the cops were called … The property did not do any housekeeping the whole 4 days I was there ( not even trash ) when we arrived they clearly did not clean the room from the person before us there was food left in the refrigerator!! Definitely don’t stay here if you like to be clean and safe .

This hotel is recently renovated so I was told. It had been shut down for a while and just reopened. I think they opened a little prematurely. My room looked fine at 1st glance, not a 5 star by any means just good enough for quick 2 night stay until I went to shower. The bottom was peeling and the material was rusty. I would have never put my bare feet into this tub. I could have gotten tetanus from this rust! How they could ever put someone in this room and expect them to shower or bathe comfortably is beyond me. And I do not consider myself high maintenance. I asked for a new room and was placed in a room that smelled so heavily of smoke that it gave me a headache. I was told there are no smoking rooms but the previous hotel must have because it was obvious. I took a shower here before asking for another room because at least the bathroom was better. Not all the way clean (hair in the shower curtain, stained shower curtain, stain on towels) but at least good enough for a quick wash off. I then asked for a third room and I am glad I took a shower in the last one because this tub was peeling here too but at least not rusty. Not to mention in the second room, there was no deadbolt lock, however the first and third rooms did have one. The second room also had things missing off of the walls as compared to first and third rooms. The final and third room was good enough to lay my head. Overall not filthy but did not meet basic needs. They opened way too soon. Still needs work.
