Good stay not great. Second nite a low base hummm noise cycled on and off till 2 am, and i got vey little rest. I was in room 512. My siblings were in 412 and 312 and reported the next morning the same problem. Not sure if it was noise from the wedding party or something emanating through the hVAC system or ?

Exceptional hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, and the rooms were immaculate and stylish. It’s the perfect boutique hotel in the center of downtown Bakersfield. This isn’t a Hilton, Radisson, Home2 Suites, or any other cookie-cutter chain hotel with bland décor and zero personality. You’re staying at a true boutique hotel with real charm and class. It’s not a utopia—parking can be inconvenient. Valet runs about $18 a day, and street parking is limited. That said, it’s still highly recommended.
When we were there, many high school students took their pictures in the lobby and up that stairway. So we duplicated the look in regular street clothes.
We stayed in the Head Honcho room. This photo is of the hallway, looking straight toward the Fox Theater—such a cool downtown vibe. I didn’t even think to take photos inside the room, but it was outstanding.
