I was very disappointed. I believe I got food poisoning at the breakfast, and barely slept that night. The next day, I stayed in, hoping to catch up on some sleep. The entrance portico was badly damaged and roped off. It was directly outside my window. The crew started tearing off the portico roof, standing 15-20' from my window at times. There was no sleep. On the 2nd day, the side door being used now as the main entrance came off it's hinges, and was rested against the outside wall, with the doorway wide open (it was 37 degrees that morning!). I won't stay there again.

Think twice

Let me start out by acknowledging that this is an older property that is in dire need of an upgrade. Currently there is some sort of exterior work going on which so perhaps the interior is next on the schedule? We had to enter the hotel through the side door because the exterior work was happening at the front of the property. The door on the side of the building was actually removed from its hinges and leaning against the side of the building. In other words, no door, open entry to anyone. It was like that for at least our first 24 hours……so you bet we made sure our room door was locked up tight. On day two they blocked the door with an appliance box and plastic (main door was again functional). Anyway, hotel is very dated. Hallways and common areas are in sore need of a vacuum and wall sconces have cobwebs in them. The room itself is tidy, but keep shoes on your feet. Everything in room is old and well worn The breakfast buffet is not bad considering so many hotels have dropped it. Included eggs, sausage, waggles and the usual assortment of fruits, breads, cereals. I would not choose to stay here again unless it went through a full refurbishment.

Room was dirty! Lamps have mildew on them. Was told are room was use for storage, then the front desk say it was a mistake. Then entering the room, the window was wide open, smelled like cigarette smoke, smoke detector was wrapped in a garbage bag, which is totally illegal, carpet had stains on them. The only thing about I can say good was the pumpkin spice waffle I made, that’s it. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Sad part is most of the comfort inn are not like this. I don’t blame the brand, I blame the property owner and manager.

Finally got one night out of town with my husband and ended up at a bad hotel. The place is old and outdated. Wish I had taken pictures. Carpets have stains all over. Front desk was very casual about doing anything and not professional. In bedroom we were startled and unsettled to sleep after seeing a huge spider crawling down the drapes that looked like a Brown Recluse that are Poisonous! Had to kill it. Contemplated leaving but was late and didn't know where else to go. Next morning complained and maintenance guy standing at desk shrugged wondering how any bug could come in unless through AC. Worker at desk said he would have manager call us the next day but he never did. We called the day after that and manager not available. Saw other bad reviews and I think manager probably ignores things to not have to deal with it and accept that their place is bad. Would have been a nice weekend if it wasn't for that bad hotel and not getting good sleep. They never gave us a proper receipt either, just had me sign for third party booking for email confirmation and that was it. Very poor service and upkeep of place. Outside entrance was even blocked off due to carport falling apart and being repaired, so you had to come in back side door. I don't know how this place has good stars, must be paid reviews to make them look better than they are.

Our room definitely hadn't been cleaned for quite some time. I took pictures. The dust was ridiculous and the sink was filthy. The bed was comfortable though. We won't stay there again.

The actual room and bathroom were pristine. We were pleased with the room itself. However, the lobby was poorly lit and dingy. We had to enter through a side entrance which smelled heavily of tobacco smoke. There was also some clutter in the side entrance.

Once in the room we set the desired climate we wanted. Rooms were very clean. Parking was just a little bit of an issue due to the construction of the front of the hotel. But all in all, it was a very comfortable stay. The staff were all very friendly. I’ve been staying there for the last 5 or 6 years when coming to that area. Will definitely be back as I usually do! Last but not least , they do have a nice little breakfast !!

My room never got cleaned during my 3 day visit. The hall way carpet was dirty. The carpet in my room was torn and there was some type of throw rug on the carpet that had a lot of stains. It just didn’t feel clean at the hotel. It was very dark
