Lobby of hotel was clean. Hotel room was clean but the bathroom door was old and the bathroom mirror had a crack in it. The door was wooden and chipped yet painted over. One main reason I chose to stay at the hotel was because of the advertised shuttle from PHIL airport to the hotel. Unfortunately, the wait time was 2hours and when attempting to call the provided number for coordinating pick ups from the airport, the calls would not go through. I was informed by another couple who were also planning on staying at the hotel that they were experiencing similar obstacles. When brought to the attention of a staff member, after finally being picked up in a outdated and unkept shuttle, a rude response was received which felt very unwarranted. My family and I have stayed at various embassy locations for leisure and work related travel and unfortunately this location is at the lower end of the list. On the plus side, similarly to other embassy hotels, breakfast included variety of food choices.

Unfortunately some of the bad reviews are indeed correct. Rooms are dirty. In very much need of some repairs. Our room was very musty and not cold even though they had the temp set to 64 degrees. The fridge also had mold growing in it. The window doesn’t seal so when the air is on it whistles letting a ton of air out. I also tried calling any phone number I could find multiple days before arriving and nobody would answer, or if they did they would say please hold and never come back. Finally yesterday at midday someone answered but then never got ahold of anyone else again. Tried calling to let them know our flights was delayed and then once we get her trying to get the shuttle info……finally after 45 minutes of am waiting around I ended up just doing an Uber.

The hotel is average. It smelled like smoke even after seeing “no smoking” signs all over the place. It looks upgraded but still has that old feel to it. Don’t rely on shuttle service. Shuttle service everywhere I’ve been is every 15 minutes but this is more of a 45 minute 1 hour wait.

Comfortable Stay
The hotel was nice, clean, and the staff was attentive. The room was very comfortable. Wife and I liked that the bedroom was separated from the rest of the room. Even though the hotel is close to PHL, we rarely, almost never heard air traffic and our room’s window faced the airport. We had a good visit, pleasant stay.

Lady at front desk was good. Young man at front desk was good. The Embassy Suite driver who picked us up was good, van was loud and sounded like it was going to break down. Driver on way to airport was rude. Food was good. I saw a mouse roaming during happy hour. The bar folks were nice. The Philly sandwich was good. Appreciated the happy hour freebies. Very dated place. Tired. A roach in my bathroom. Breakfast area had talking staff and dirty tables to service. Professionalism was below average.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Would have rated hotel higher but seems that this is a spot locals use to bring kids to celebrate birthdays/other occasions. Completely took over pools/ hot tubs made unusable for other guests. Kids eere allowed to run hallways well past 1 AM. Mentioned thid at checkout and just git an eye roll from desk clerk. Asked to see manager and clerk said they were coming in later that morning but she would pass in message ( yes sure that didn’t happen).

Very worn hotel. It was a busy Sunday. Night and they only had one shuttle running back and forth to the airport. I had to wait multiple trips before I could get on. An hour from baggage claim to the hotel that is 3 miles away. Carpet is worn. Just a bit outdated. Needs work.
