i was very pleased with the improvements made to the rooms! in my experience, Gold coast has been known for affordability and convenience, away from the Bustle of the Strip. The rooms, Elevator foyer, and Hallways have been refurbished. nicely done. Rates for stay are still good, and table play is also still lower that strip play!

It can be good but it can be awful so beware
The checkout experience was awful and it has been awful every time recently. The lady at checkout I don't have her name she's middle-aged gray- shortish hair she's extremely rude and clearly gives you the impression that they do not value customers who book through hotels.com they prefer customers who get free offers from the casino I know this because I used to get free offers from the casino and they do treat you different in that case but they have to remember that all customers are equal and this woman made me feel really awful every time. Just rude and dismissive and I don't understand why I should really tell her that. Checking in on the other hand was lovely the young lady checking me in is a delight she's professional and she's probably the future unfortunately being rude clearly is not good enough to fire people when you have a heavily unionized situation as in Las Vegas. The Bell desk service is equally completely different depending on who is helping you I have had experience with wonderful people and terrible people for example now they cannot find my mail even if UPS is clearly giving me confirmation that it was signed and received hours ago everything you ask is a huge effort but again it really depends on who you find because I have found just a few days ago through a different booking a wonderful person about desk so it really depends on how lucky you are

For the price, this was one of the best values I have have experienced. The hotel rooms have had a recent renovation. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Loved the Dim Sum restaurant. Low table stakes makes betting easy.

Great room comfortable bed refrigerator overall many options for dining that we’re all good. Great gift shop across the street from the Palms. Very nice but the entire casino reeked of smoke really really really bad. That was a major downer.

We were in town for NFR and had no trouble getting anywhere by uber/lyft. Our room was exceptional and the price was great. We could walk to the Rio and there was a Walgreens and restaurants (typical chain but convenient) across the street

It is in decent condition, but you could starve right to death waiting at TGIF. Other than sleeping and gambling there isnt much offered...not even a cup of coffee.

Perfect location.
The room was big and comfortable. The amenities included with the room were really nice. The valet service was good. I felt safe. Lots of place nearby to eat. My only issue was WiFi and cell phone signal was inconsistent. The property is close to strip and the highway for east travel around town.
