Resort fee surprise of $100 per night!!! 16 to 30 minutes for hot water to arrive in shower. Pool closed, dance event was loud and crowded and messy. Done coming here.

We were there for a dance competition. None of the restaurant or stores were prepared for the mass amounts of people. The smell was horrible. There was some kind of plumbing problem. The sewer smell was unbearable. Definitely not a resort or spa by any standards!

I arrived around 5:00 for a dance competition and needed to get ready and my room was not ready till I was at dinner. The hotel smelled terrible and was concerned for my health. We had a 30 person dinner reservation at the Italian restaurant and they were so rude and made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. I believe the whole resort was under staffed. Coffee took forever, there was one person working the gift shop and Starbucks. Seasons grocery was the same way (although they were very kind) totally under staffed and both places ran out of ingredients. Just seems like the whole property was not prepared for the amount of people that were there.

Hotel has bad smell. We visit because kids dance competition 2/2026 and booked two queen bed room, room is fair clean but hair dry is sticky and dirty. Room door run out battery at second night so need technician change battery. Towel is very firm. Might because it’s a big events they are not prepared good for a lot visitors in same day, pre-order next morning room breakfast delivery but never delivered and phone no one answers. The restaurant offer buffet during weekend but on the day food in tray always gone soon and refill late. So we have to quick step out eat and back for competition. Never consider back again.

My first room smelled like sewage. I was transferred to another room and it smelled like sewage as well. I guess the staff got tired of accommodating me because they tried to downgrade me to another room without a view. They also stated that they couldn’t guarantee that it wouldn’t smell like sewage because they needed to flush their septic system. Walking the hotel you would get random hits of the smell as well. For the price I paid per night I’d definitely avoid ever booking here again. They wouldn’t provide me with a refund the second day of my seven day stay, even though I was unhappy with the smell so I could go to another hotel because I booked on hotels.com. One female even tried to act like she had never heard anyone complain, yet everyone was talking about it.

The whole hotel smelled like sewage the hallways were freezing and not heated. My lake view was not that good and the pictures that were shown on the room I booked at a balcony, but then I get to a room that didn’t have a balcony. Never again.

Better communication about room services, but overall this was an amazing experience hate I did not get any spa or special offers but love to come back I tried to get in during my birthday which was 12/20 but said no specials for birthdays which seemed weird
