If you are looking to stay for one night near CDG, I recommend finding a hotel south of the airport. It was a longer taxi trip to this hotel from Paris compared to other ones I have been to, to which you'd have to pay a higher fee. Also, the price was slightly higher than other 3-4 star hotels nearby, so I expected better cleanliness and service. The entire hallway and room smelled like an old, moldy air conditioner. Be aware that there are no places to dine out nearby the hotel, so your only option for food is the restaurant inside the hotel, which was below mediocre. I do not know how they operate their shuttle services now, but when I was staying there (Aug 24), the shuttle only connected to one terminal at CDG. The check-in process was smooth, though.
