Inside, you'll find comfortable space in the living area, along with a dining table that seats four. There's a fully-appointed kitchen, with appliances for meal prep, and a dishwasher for cleanup afterward. Cooking ware, dining ware, glasses, and utensils are provided, too! Central air and heat keep the comfort level to your liking.

Upstairs, there's a master suite with a full bathroom, including a shower and clean linens. The bedroom features a plush and comfy king-sized bed, and with the queen-sized sleeper futon downstairs, there's sleeping space at the Big Fern Cabin for up to four. Beautiful little property
We stopped for groceries before we got to Leakey. The barndo is cute, just be careful on the drive out because the road is gravel and without 4 wheel drive it's a bit tricky. We almost couldn't get out in the minivan. Otherwise cute little area and beautiful views.

Gem in the Rough
It was a beautiful little slice up and away. The surrounding Trump-land wasn’t ideal, but nevertheless the property itself was lovely and secluded and a nice spot to unwind for my birthday otherwise.

The property was private and peaceful and surrounded by the beauty of the Hill Country. Close to Los Maples state park which was the reason for our stay. Highly recommend!
