Property was in a great location, lots to do within walking distance. Felt safe at this property. You have to pay for parking at public parking garage.

It was great staying right in the heart of old Gettysburg. It was little bit of a drive to get to the visitors center and battlefield's, but it was not inconvenient for the most part. Great experience. My husband thinks a ghost hit his foot the first night. Who knows?

The parking situation is poor. Poor instructions on parking access. Amenity list on Expedia said there was a refrigerator in room, but there was not. The heating fan was loud and very inefficient. The TV is poor, with very limited offerings. No Netflix or movie rentals. No menu in room for room service and nothing on the TV about it. No information about hotel amenities, etc., on the TV and no video check out. Feels like a hotel from the 60s.

King suite was supposed to have updated shower with sliding glass door.Specifically upgraded to suite for this reason. Upon arrival bathroom had stained grout, large tub and bathroom smelled of urine. The seperate living room area had a used hair tie in the middle of the floor so it hadnt been vacuumed and the couch had odd stains on several cushions. We did not use this room. The bed was clean but the sheets were either stretched out or two sizes too big for the bed creating large uncomfortable wrinkles and the bed was lumpy. (Sheets, conforter and bed were very clean though). There wasnt much room in the bathroom for toiletries, the sink area was very smalk and so was the bathroom. With the couch being so dirty and the floors seemed dirty there wasnt much space to put luggage etc. There was a small closet, a small microwave and mini fridge area as well but we didnt use them. The ac unit compressor in the ceiling was extremely loud all the while it ran and when it kicked on and off it made a loud noise as well. The hotel itself was quiet. We didnt complain to guest services because we were only there two nights and the bed was at least clean and shower was hot. Hotel was within walkkng distance for most things and the food and service in the restaraunt for breakfast was the best part of the hotel.

Pricey, but the best place to stay in Gettysburg, Can’t beat the location, on Lincoln Square in the center of town, walkable to all the attractions and best restaurants. Can’t say enough about the friendliness of the staff, from the front desk to the bar. Wide selection of accommodations in (updated) old and modern sections.Plus reputedly has a few ghosts on the premises, Only downside is that hotel doesn’t have its own parking, which means guests have to use expensive — though conveniently adjacent — municipal lot.
