Chalet Ladroit is an OVO Network property. If you're looking for a very special 5 star property in a quiet spot just a short drive from the Aravis pistes, then look no further.

The OVO Network team’s opinion -

This unique farmhouse close to the village of Les Clefs was built in 1827 by a nobleman from Chambery who wanted a mountain retreat for occasional visits.

You'll need a car (with snow tyres and chains in the winter), but the stunning views from the chalet make the drive more than worth it. The nearest shops are a five-minute drive away in Thônes.

Covered steps lead up from the car park to the front door which opens on to the open plan living area – a well equipped kitchen with a huge range cooker, a large dining table which easily seats 12, and a cosy seating area, with a flat screen television and doors on to the terrace. From the lounge you will access the sauna, the hammam and the indoor heated pool, as well as another double bedroom, a shower room and independent WC.

The outside space is a real feature of this property, with a large sunny terrace perfect for catching some sun and a covered dining area seating 12, which can be used all year round – the perfect place for enjoying dinner while the sun sets behind the mountains.

Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

Please note there is a tenant living in a small apartment in Chalet Ladroit all year round. IMPORTANT : the wifi is not powerful enough to allow 12 people to work remotely (video call etc). Fiber is scheduled to be installed in 2024.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We accept a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

Excellent view, brilliant pool
Though the chalet has multiple advantages, the view from it is undoubtedly its best and unique feature. What a sight to behold! The somewhat precarious climb to reach it by car is worth it. The house has warmth and style, all rooms were squeaky clean and the owner responded astutely when it was required. The nearby tenant is very friendly and other than cigarette smoke every so often, we did not even register his presence. All in all a wonderful chalet, for a (large) family or group of friends!

Parfait pour les personnes qui sont proche de la nature, qui souhaitent se reposer et qui veulent être isolés, pas en plein milieu de la ville. La chalet est douillet et est très bien chauffé. Le complexe piscine sauna et hammam fonctionne très bien et il est très agréable d’y aller faire un tour après une journée passée en extérieur.
