La Villa Lombardi, 5 stars in Champagne with pool, hot tub

In the heart of Champagne vineyards, 1.5h from Dijon, capital of Burgundy, and 2h from Disneyland Paris, enjoy a luxury stay with family or friends at our fully renovated 17th century property.
Sunbathe on lounge chairs by the inground heated pool and hot tub, sipping our champagnes, then enjoy dinner on one of our terraces overlooking the pool or the garden. Or maybe you’ll visit historical castles and churches, Renoir’s house, Nigloland theme park, or meet some of the 288 champagne growers in Les Riceys!
Like the "clos" vineyards of the Champagne region, the property is enclosed by a wall of traditional white stones, and is completely privatized for your vacation or seminar. Within the Clos grounds are our two establishments: La Villa Lombardi, officially rated 5 stars in 2023, combines tradition and modernity for luxury stays and The Chai Lombardi, our new “honesty bar” and dedicated work space, both equipped with high speed Wifi.
La Villa Lombardi: On the ground floor you will find a spacious and luminous living room and open kitchen with dining area, looking out to the terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, induction stove, water boiler, microwave, toaster, filter-coffee machine, espresso machine, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, etc. From the main living space, you can access a single bedroom (trundle bed accommodates an additional person) with private bathroom (Italian shower / sink / toilet / towel dryer), and a double bedroom (queen size bed 160x200) also with private bathroom (Italian shower / sink / toilet / towel dryer). Upstairs you will find the master suite with its double bedroom (queen size bed 160 x 200) and its spacious bathroom (Italian shower / bathtub / sink / toilet / towel dryer), as well as a separate sitting room with a sofa bed, TV, Blueray player, sound bar and library.
Le Chai Lombardi: On the ground floor we can accommodate 8 people seated where we offer a selection of drinks including Lombardi champagnes and simple snacks up to elaborated dishes prepared by Michelin star chefs offered in glass jars and to be heated for 2 minutes in the microwave and this in complete autonomy. Don't hesitate to ask us for the menu, we update it regularly!
On the first floor, the dedicated work space is proposed with furniture and everything you need to work peacefully. The Chai is an atypical and warm place also open to businesses. Do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
Within the property you will enjoy our in ground heated swimming pool (available from April to October) with its lounge chairs and parasols, a terrace with lounge furniture (sofa/armchairs/coffee table) ideal for enjoying your aperitifs and evening dinners, a hot tub, a private yard and garden with outdoor dining table, a barbecue, bikes to borrow, and ample parking space. Bike storage is available.
The Villa Lombardi is equipped with a latest-generation heat pump, assuring your air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter. We have chosen Simmons 5-star hotel mattresses for our beds to ensure optimum sleeping comfort for travelers. The villa can comfortably accommodate up to 7 people... 5 adults plus 1 or 2 children. Premium Linvosges pillows, linens and towels are provided.
Your bed(s) will be made upon arrival. For your little traveler, we propose a “baby kit” for 15€, including a baby crib with a real mattress and sheets made up at your arrival, as well as a Stokke high-chair set up at the dining table. Your little one can be added to the number of guests in the reservation if you prefer a regular bed; otherwise, guests 2 and under stay for free!
If you are interested in a private tasting of our own Lombardi Champagnes in our on-site tasting room during your stay, just let us know. We ask a contribution of 10€ per person, deductible from a case purchase (15€ per person for groups of 3 or fewer). A continental breakfast service is also available upon request. This must be ordered for the totality of guests and nights of the reservation. We can also arrange arrival platters (a mix of cold cuts and cheeses) to be waiting for you when you arrive. If you are interested in any of these services, just let us know in a message when you make your reservation.
The entire property is privatized for your stay. We are very responsive; do not hesitate to contact us during your stay. Located in the heart of the Village des Riceys, Villa Lombardi affords walking access to the tourist office, local shops, bakery, the supermarket, newspaper and tobacco shop, café, pharmacy (all within a 5-minute walk or 2-minute car ride). The bank and post office are just 2-minutes away on foot. If you have a bigger shopping trip in mind, Bar-sur-Seine is a 15-minute drive. If you are interested in hiking to discover our beautiful village and its surroundings, many hiking departures are near the Villa Lombardi. Feel free to peruse the welcome kit, which describes a wide range of activities available in the region.
A thirty minute drive will take you to the fabulous Nigloland amusement park, the town of Essoyes with the Renoir Museum, retracing the life of the famous painter and his family, and also the beautiful Eastern forest and its large lakes equipped with beaches, an aquatic park, restaurants, and boating. The beautiful city of Troyes with the typical charm of the region is just 40 minutes by car.
