Second time staying here. I stumbled upon this little gem a couple of years ago on a trip with my mother. Sometimes, small business hotels are better than chains. This is ESPECIALLY true at this establishment!! Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Communication was great and I had no problem checking in despite being delayed and not arriving until 1:30 AM!! The on-site restaurant is exceptional and the indoor and outdoor settings are exquisite. This hotel is conveniently located just out of dowtown Lexington and within walking distance for some. IT IS SOOOOO QUIET AT NIGHT. Not because of ridiculous rules. Its a well built building unlike many cheap chain hotels. Rooms are very clean, tastlefully decorated, and attention is paid to the small details to make you feel at home. The best part? THEY ALLOW PETS!!! No worries about leaving your fur baby behind. Thank you so much for another great stay. Cant wait to come back again!!!!

Such a nice place! The only complaint is the water pressure. It’s just a trickle in the sink. The staff was wonderful. We had breakfast tin the restaurant which was delicious.

We specifically chose the “gardener’s premier room” for a little extra money over a “deluxe” option. It was said to be a room full of live plants from the local nursery. Unfortunately, the room just had some succulents in the window and a single dying peace lily. That was upsetting given the description. We ate dinner at the attached restaurant and it made us both slightly ill with some bathroom issues. Veggie pasta added salmon and Caesar salad

Don't pass this one by - great stay in Lexington!

Elwood Hotel is the sweetest surprise. We have returned to this lovely hotel over three times and look forward to staying here again. The rooms are well-appointed, and the locations are convenient. The value is terrific! I love this hotel!!
