Nice room very clean and good facilities. Disappointed that restaurant was closed by 8pm so had to drive to nearby pub The Fox to get a proper meal - that was very good though

Very happy with the hotel generally but I was staying in room 205, and when I entered the room both the bathroom window, and the bedroom window were covered in flies. I set to with a towel and killed nearly all of the flies, and brushed them in a small area under the window. I assumed these would be cleared when the room was services, but was disappointed to find the same fly graveyard intact when I got back the following evening. The bed was made and the towels changed so the room had been serviced but not cleaned. I have photos of the fly collection but the app will not allow me to upload them Also the window frame was rotten, and there was very little water flow from the tap in the sink. Excellent pressure in the bath tap not 2 feet away though !?

A great combination of old and new styles. Excellent breakfast. If less mobile - be prepared for steps to climb/descend. Not a big problem but took us by surprise. Staff very helpful.

Messed about
Booked a superior duluxe double room, to be told it wasn’t available due to maintenance. Then moved to a sports room ( premier inn style) beyond basic. Asked at the other reception about the room maintenance, knew nothing about it, essentially double booked rooms and I got the crap end of the stick

Beautiful room newly decorated, spotless, beautiful gardens, breakfast was lovely and plentyfull. Staff were really helpful and chatty. I would definately go back, great value for money.

We had the most delightful stay here whilst waiting for our house to be finished. It really feels like home from home yet outstanding service and grounds. My little girl told everyone she was staying in a castle 😂. We would love to come back. Big shout to the lovely lady who checked us in, so sorry we didn't get her name and Natalia from housekeeping. A really lovely setting and very comfortable accommodation. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast buffet was excellent. There was a handy cafe that stayed open late for snacks and drinks.

Amazing hotel and service
We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights to make a weekend away out of a competition event my partner was taking part in. We were very impressed with how picturesque the hotel venue was, as well as the room in itself. We booked a superior double room and it definitely lived up to the name, with a spacious bedroom , bathroom and living room space. The booking came with breakfast which offered plenty of choice to suit all tastes. The staff were very helpful in assisting to any query and request ( for example we needed an iron during our stay which wasn’t in the room and someone came around with an iron and ironing board within minutes). The location is slightly secluded , which can be a positive or negative, depending on what individuals are looking for. The bar and cafe area around the corner offers a selection of food and drink at reasonable prices for lunch etc during the day and the hotel itself does have a lunch service / menu in place. For those competing / involved in sports however ( and this is not a criticism of the hotel, just something that came as a shock to me about the venue as a whole) it’s not possible to really buy any sports nutrition near the venue, which I would assume would be one place to find it.

The rooms was clean and tidy, the food was lovely. We stayed there once before had beautiful view but this time i walked into the room was disappointed with the view, we were in a room that overlooked a white wall when you looked down it overlooked what looked like a storage room, I felt claustrophobic, I shut the curtains and turned on the lights.

Fantastic Lilleshall
Brilliant stay at Lilleshall. The staff are always helpful and very polite. Lots of options for breakfast and wonderful grounds to walk around and work off the food.

Great little hidden gem of a hotel
Staff were very helpful from arrival to departure. Room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and a large shower. Had dinner in the evening which was a bit mediocre for the price. Had mussels for starter but no bowl to put the shells and no hand cleaning bowl provided. Would also have been nice to have some bread with the starter. Main was venison which was tender but slightly dry and more jus would have been nice. Would certainly return again if going to David Austin roses of the museum at RAF Cosford.
