The friendly staff made check in a breeze and got our luggage to the room quickly with the carts and the elevator. Right when we walked into the room, we could see the bay out of the large window. The beach is just 20 steps from the parking lot and the water is right there.

The property was great, it was Expedia that wasn’t, will not use them again!!! A week in advance I tried to rearrange 1 day, talked to several people n they couldn’t do it, although they say they can, they didn’t!!!

Very friendly staff and exceptional location and I loved how dog friendly the hotel is. We received a welcome treat and ample space and bags for walks. It’s tucked away from all the road noise and it’s such a peaceful place to stay.

The parking lot was a bit tricky. Very steep grade up into a lot or down into a lot. Felt like you were either going straight up or down. It was a great location and value for the price though.

The views, accommidations, easy walking distance to various stores, museum, glass making businesses and restaurants. I enjoyed watching the cranes, seagulls and seals from my window. I had so much especially after finding a Finders Keepers on my 1st day of vacation. Definately staying again later this year for my next vacation.

The first room we were given stank of vomit. We were given another room, but without the balcony we'd paid for. We overheard another guest complaining of a dog urine smell, so there is a problem here. The hotel was 'dog friendly'. Our replacement room was barely average. The hotel is in a nice quiet spot right on the beach. Breakfast was ok, and rooms generally clean, but dated and needed refurbishment. I probably wouldn't visit again.

Came here for a birthday trip with my partner and I'm so glad I did. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, water pressure in the shower was pretty good even on the 4th floor, and the view of the bay was fantastic. Access to the bay is so close, literally steps away. Breakfast was good, I loved that there were waffles and mini waffles, as well as bagels, English muffins, cereal, yogurt and fruit available, and it was kept well stocked every morning. The hotel is an easy few blocks walk from a food cart collective with a bar, art galleries, a dispensary, glass blowing shops, and more, so plenty to do without needing to get in the car at all. I can't wait to come back again.

Spur of The Moment

My stay was a Spur of the moment!! I had taken my Service Dog on a beach walk and after a day of traveling i decided to check Hotels.com to see if they had a room available. I accidentally booked the room for the next night. It took some work with the Hotels.com agent [Lelen] to fix/change my reservation but Lelen got the job done!! Thanks to Hotels.com for the FIX!! The Hospitality Agent, Jeremy was also very helpful. He got me all checked in and settled. He offered to help with anything I might need. He offered doggie biscuits for my Service dog also! The room was very Nice!! We will be back!!!

There is numerous issues with this property - BEWARE! Beyond the obvious issues you get with a run down motel - non-existent "breakfast", sloped mattresses, smelly carpets, thin walls and floors; the biggest issue was the LACK OF AFTER-HOURS STAFF! We had a trio of young people with a toddler next to us. The child screamed as if being teased or tortured for hours. Around 10 pm, the "trio" began screaming and slamming the room door to the point we had to say something. The office door says call "0" on the room phone for emergencies. I called for 15 minutes straight but nobody answered. I went outside to the front door, which says to ring bell for assistance after 10pm. Again, nobody came after 10-15 minutes of ringing bell. Tried to call 911 on the room phone but only got a busy signal. Asked the GM Brandon about this issue. He apologized and said he was on sight and just didn't get up in time to answer phone or door. Seems sketchy, as I spent 15 minutes constantly calling and another 15 constantly ringing bell. This is an extremely serious issue and needs ownership involvement.

Paid for a balcony but our balcony had caution tape on it and was shakey which was tacky and unsafe. At night the bathroom reaked of Marijuana so i assume our neighbors were smoking in the bathroom. The bottom floor had dogs that barked nonstop. The beds were stiff and uncomfortable
