Ideal ‘city break’ hotel
Very well located hotel ideal for a short break with easy access to the main tourist attractions. The room was very comfortable and well equipped The breakfast choices were excellent. However, what really made our stay memorable was the helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff we encountered.They provided excellent service and useful information to make our stay enjoyable!

I was pleasantly surprised and happy with this choice. It is centrally located--easy to walk to many must-see surrounding areas. I felt like I was in the midst of prime Lisbon activity and culture. I was most impressed with hotel service--from the front desk attendants to its head of guess services. The cheerfulness, the willingness to assist, and the attendants' ability to anticipate what guests want and how to make guests feel comfortable and happy throughout the stay. The service should be rated "extradorinary" or "exceptional" by any level of standards.

Friendly and helpful staff. Our bathroom soap dispenser fell off but otherwise room was in good condition. Hair straightener was a great amenity to have!

Lovely property at a convenient location. Our upgraded room is spacious and cozy but living area is a bit dark. Water, mini wine and complimentary mini bar provided, we can have water and juices at the lobby as well. Breakfast is abundance. I noticed the hotel offers free walking tour as well, which we didn't have time to join. Uber is not allowed on this street, so if it rains it will be a bit troublesome to lug the baggage to the next street. Overall we had a great stay here.

We spent 2 weeks in Lisbon at Hotel Baixa and were so impressed with the property. It’s in a great central location in Lisbon. Be mindful that you do have to walk a block or so to the property with your luggage on arrival as the street in front of the property is closed to vehicles (tram line passes there so it’s very easy to access the tram system from hotel). All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Shout out to the housekeeping staff who did an excellent job keeping our rooms clean on a daily basis. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the staff that manned it did an expert job. Our room was upgraded and was beautiful with a large bathroom. Overall if we ever came back to Lisbon we would happily return to Hotel Baixa.

Pedro the property manager was the best host. He gave our group a 2 hour walking tour which was so informative and unique with his family legends and folklore. He told us where to exchange money and what to do and some suggestions on what not to do. The hotel was in excellent condition and so clean. The bar was a great meeting place at night to sit relax and rehash what we did for the day. The hotel had live music one night and was so fun. Great place to stay with a great location.

We stayed at this wonderful property for 3 nights during our time in Portugal. The staff was incredible and the hotel itself was beautiful and very charming. Breakfast was lovely and the bar area was also very inviting. Special thank you to Pedro for the tour of the Old Town as well. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Wonderful, modern hotel. Rooms were elegant and very quiet. Location was perfect, walking distance to the castle and many other sites. Staff was incredible.
