The staff was wonderfully helpful and the grounds/facilities/rooms are gorgeous. Ask someone to help you find the gallery and see all of the artifacts of the old convent dating back to B.C. The only very minor problem was that the showers were a bit tricky to open. But everything else more than made up for that!

Staff was very helpful. However this hotel seems to be used by a lot of event and conference groups so it was crazy busy every day with lots of people checking in and out. This also made the property quite loud. The room was nice and fairly clean.

This hotel was good! Clean, safe, centrally located, especially if you book excursions, a meeting point is very close by! The pool and pool area was beautiful. Little cafe at the lobby was so good and very needed in the mornings. Staff was ok - helpful but no one went above and beyond with anything. It was normal. Restaurant was great! Santa Marta is top tier! My only callouts are that our mattress was not good. Our backs actually began to hurt by the time we left. Yes we could’ve asked to move room but we were on a schedule and didn’t want to waste time moving if we had already settled in. The room itself was SMALL. And honestly at that size you don’t need to squeeze in a couch AND a desk. Makes it very hard to walk around. The other thing is the layout and the floors of the hotel. They have -3 and 0 floor and in order to get to the pool you have to go -4 … it’s all very confusing and you have to travel through buildings to get to the pool depending on where you are staying. Nothing we can do there but perhaps provide more specific instruction and with a map? Otherwise we. Had a good stay.

The location is really special. The speakeasy listening Bar is top and the Pizza at the restaurant by the pool one of the best in Lisbon. A missing point is the Gym and the lack of decent coffee in the rooms (instant coffee really?????).
