Could tell the hotel was old. One of the lights in the room wouldn’t turn off. Shower curtain liner was falling apart. The room didn’t smell fresh although the carpets in all the rooms were going to be cleaned the next week.
Great staff. It was a busy weekend for parents weekend and they were so accommodating. Great hotel and location!

Everything was great until I found a dead cockroach near the bed the morning I was leaving. I'm petrified of them, and just because there is a warmer climate in NC does not make it acceptable to find or see cockroaches in the hotel room. I did inform the front desk when I left, and she was truly kind, as were all of the staff I've encountered while there.
I loved the fact that my family and I were able to get separate bedrooms and bathrooms, and the cost was not bad at all. Friendly staff and check-in were a breeze.

Love how the staff are very welcoming and accommodating, the cleanliness and rooms are spacious. Wish they have some kind of sound barrier between rooms so we don't hear footsteps specifically from people staying in the room above us.
Chicken was easy. People friendly. Room was very underwhelming. For an extended stay place, one glass to use is just unacceptable. Also, shower curtains are ripped, service requests for special pillow also disregarded. Floors are creaky. You can hear everybody walking.
