Great room on the whole, central location and the car park is a good selling point. Unfortunate that we visited at such a hot time since this place has no air conditioning at all (other than the lobby) and was brutally hot. A big fan was provided but the windows only open a small amount so no scope to bring in cool air. Otherwise service, comfort and cleanliness were good.

The hotel was excellent and would stay again and in line with some top London hotels. Only thing and probably not the only one saying this. The corridors and especially the rooms need air con drastically, especially with the frequent extremely hot weather, they are like a sauna. Windows don’t open wide enough and need to pull curtains at night, then that blocks out little ventilation even more. A big fan is provided but that just spreads hot air around the room and keeps you awake as they are noisy. Shame, because the expense of installing would get you even more return customers. Would stay in winter but not Summer as the heat realise uncomfortably in rooms. Otherwise 10 out of 10.

One Night Stay.

Stayed for one night as a couple to visit the theatre. Very pleasant check in staff. Room was large, clean, quiet & had everything one could need for overnight stay. Took an early evening drink at the Castaway bar. Dinner the restaurant was first class. Food was fab & staff very welcoming.

Great hotel, fabulous staff!

What an amazing find. Right next door to the station. Great bar and restaurant although we didn’t eat there, the menu looked good. The room….great although the tv was stupidly put on a wall where you couldn’t really see if you’re in bed. I get why it’s there and why there’s not an adjustable arm (some idiot’d pull it off) but that’s the only negative I have. Unless you count the idiots next door feeding the seagulls out of their window so they kept up their seagull calling all night.

Great location near to train station. No air con in rooms but large fan provided - although noisy did help with cooling room to sleep. Window did not open more than a couple of centimetres. Stayed during heatwave.

Hotel location was within walkable distance from main venue reason for going to Liverpool. In addition car park associated with hotel was a very short walk from hotel front doors and although told no parking space is garuanted a space became available within 2 mins of waiting

Near to station and amenities, restaurant manager very rude needs addressing as made people feel very uncomfortable ? Infact there was only one member of staff who was pleasant , waitress kept rolling her eyes and pulling faces when asked for anything , service was very slow but food was good once it did arrive nearly and hour later , the manager needs serious training in customer care skills !!

Handy for rail link and the theatre. A fair bit of noise from the rail station below from early morning. No air con so had to open windows or run noisey portable fan.Unable to get an evening pre theatre meal as fully booked. Fortunately Weatherspoons just up the road so will take breakfast there too. Car park is a plus and is free if you are resident at hotel so all in all not a bad place to stay.
