Staff were lovely and the location is perfect. the whole hotel however was very stuffy and warm. The room and bathroom were ok, but overall the hotel needs a bit of tlc.

We had a decent-sized 6th-floor room with a comfortable bed and great view of the city. It is next to Liverpool Lime Street station and within walking distance of the city centre. Our main gripe was the TV, which was very old, took a long time to respond, had no news channels and was at right angles to the bed..! There was no air conditioning either, although a large fan was provided. The bathroom was clean but pretty cramped (with one of those horrible plastic shower curtains). Staff were helpful, although reception was often unmanned when we walked past. The lifts were ridiculously small and very slow - you could barely fit four people in them. Overall, despite these issues, it was a decent place to stay.

Great base
Great spot for Liverpool city centre. Near to train and bus stations so easy to get about from here. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful

Very good.
Excellent location for city centre access. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The outside of the hotel doesn't give much away, but the liner 'theme' in the corridors and rooms was well designed. Good value and we're certain to return here on our next visit to the city.

Noisy Hotel - Early wake ups.
If you like wake up calls via lime street station announcements at 6am onwards, this is the place for you. The noise is a disaster, two unwelcome early mornings. I wouldn't stay here again personally.

Friendly check-in staff. The bed has got to be one of the comfiest I have slept in. Clean room. A small queue for the breakfast in the morning but didn't wait too long.

When we first drove in I was thinking I made a mistake booking in the area, seemed sketchy & unsafe. BUT, once I got parked (attendant super helpful) and checked in (reception super helpful) and able to walk around the next day, I realized how convenient it was to everything and my concerns disappeared. Staff was super helpful and provided another fan when ours didn't work. Bartender was also able to provide me with a lot of ice for my cooler since they were close to closing time and going to throw it out anyway. Definitely would stay there if I'm ever in the area again.

An amazing hotel
I’m so glad I chose this hotel, you really do feel like you are on a cruise ship. I usually drive to Liverpool but there are a lot of roadworks along the route I go, so I came on the train. The hotel is very close to Lime St station, you can walk from there. It’s really close to the city centre, the main reason for my trip was to go to a football match at Goodison Park, which took less than 20 minutes on the bus. I will definitely be staying there again.

Another enjoyable stay.
We enjoyed our stay. Very clean room serviced well - gorgeous flufffy and soft towels. Maybe decaff tea and hot choc would have been a bonus as would some bottled water. My request for a quiet room away from lifts was fulfilled. Housekeeping need a big shout out.as do the reception staff on arrival and check out. Free parking is what really clinched it for us. Our second stay this year and we will definitely look to book when we return to Liverpol.
