I stayed in the Marine hotel for 9 nights in Oct 2025, I can't praise it enough. On arrival the reception staff were very polite and the check in was quick and easy. All staff in the hotel were polite and helpful. The hotel is not a 5 star but has all that you need to enjoy a break. My room was a 3rd floor with sea view, the lift was great. There is a tempting swimming pool which looked clean, I didn't have time to try it out. If you are looking for a low cost hotel, within walking distance of shops etc, I would happily recommend the Marine, as long as you don't mind creaky floor boards. Great value for the price. Thanks to all the staff for their helpfulness and friendliness.

Breakfast was superb, staff were great. The parking was easy to find and felt secure. Comfy bed and pillows. Everything you wanted was there only very slight negative was the squeaky floor boards. Would recommend this hotel.

Excellent breakfast, with good healthy choices. Great seafront location. Bedroom was rather tired and a bit battered, but it was an economy room at a decent price, so what can you expect? Probably would upgrade the room next time.

Room was a good size single, nice and warm with a comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great buffet breakfast offering all breakfast items. Nice bar with a superb sea view which wasn't overpriced. Entertainment offered in the ballroom a couple of nights a week. Has an indoor pool but didn't use it. All in all a great stay.
