We had a lovely room with seaview. Large comfortable bed in what I would call a lounge /bedroom with a sofa and large television. This was our first visit to the Marine and we will be back again next year Joe Calton

I would stay again but wouldnt have the breakfast
The hotel looks lovely and is right on the beach front. I'm disabled with limited mobility and I was using crutches so id requested an easily accessible room as close as Possible. I was on the upper floor but there was a lift. I needed to get my things in from the car but wasn’t offered help until i had struggled to get it all to the reception, The reception did then offer to help take it to my room but didn't seem overly pleased about doing it. And then when leaving the next morning one of the young men cleaning offered to help me get it downstairs, then i had to get it to the car. The room was clean and tidy and even though it wasnt a front room there was still a lovely view of the Great Orme. The shower room was clean. I wasn't impressed by the buffet breakfast or the coffee, in-fact i couldnt eat or drink it. The staff weren’t very interactive so there wasn’t much conversation with any of them.

Disappointed with the Response to My Injury and Booking Issue I recently stayed at this hotel and, while the room was clean and the staff seemed generally nice, I was left disappointed by how they handled a few situations. Firstly, I fractured my leg during my stay, and the staff didn’t seem to show much concern or care for my well-being, which was upsetting. Additionally, I had a frustrating experience with the booking process. When I initially booked through Expedia, the system charged me without confirmation via (FACE ID) and system mistakenly set the wrong date for my stay. I called the hotel to request a refund, and they told me I needed to reach out to Expedia. However, when Expedia contacted the hotel on my behalf to approve the refund, the request was declined, even though the staff member had previously confirmed they would be able to assist if I rebooked with the correct dates. This left me feeling misled and forced to make another stay with the same hotel unnecessarily. Overall, while the hotel itself is decent, my experience was soured by the lack of empathy and poor handling of the booking issue. Thank you, Mr Matos - Room 403 - Wednesday 27/11/2024

Had a lovely weekend! Hotel bit dated and tired but ok the tele wasn’t the best it’s not linked to the wifi so terrible reception we asked to be moved as we wanted to watch tele they did move us to a better room but was still unwatchable. Pool was small but clean and warm overall good stay

We loved the staff at the bar, reception and restaurant....fantastic service! The breakfast was lovely with quality sausages and bacon, nice cup of tea! Loved option of ordering latte from the dining room with the waitress as the coffee is not so good. The room we stayed in was okay, clean but could be made sooooo much better just if some love and care was spent fixing the minor problems in the room you can see. All need is maintenence man to fix cracked wall, cover old leak marks with paint, sand filler on bathroom door, new silicone on sink/shower cubicle, fill cracks and lick of paint! Someone has done botch job on fixing leg of dressing table and paint mark on chair in room needs removing! It would take half a day to fix all this and make it perfect! Just need good maintenance person! Employ a good 2 or 3 maintenance men/ women and hotel would be beautiful. Minor but numerous little visual issues letting hotel down. Staff are 5* . Ignore bad reviews on this hotel, well worth it!
