I had a very nice stay at Ember Locke Kensington. The decor in the hotel, and in the rooms themselves, is excellent. The room was comfortable with good air conditioning and was very comfortable. I made use of the kitchenette. Only complaint is that one elevator was down and the elevator that was working was a bit dirty and could have used a food cleaning.

The Family Room was dark and dingy. We were a sub terrain room which should have been disclosed ahead. We had 2 adjoining rooms which had fire doors and no way to keep them open to each other. When asked if they had a door stop they did not have anything until the following day and then they only provided 1. When the doors were opened they covered the TV's and we had to sidestep to pass through to the other room. I paid extra to have a kitchenette but there were no utensils, or kitchen accessories, so that was a waste of money. They also told me that there would be a washer and dryer in the room and there was not, so that was another waste of money. We needed a toothbrush and were told we had to go out at midnight to a convenience store 15 minutes away. When I asked if we could be moved to a different room they said there were none available so I asked if I could be refunded for the additional nights they told me yes. They charged us double for the one night we were there than the quoted nightly rate. That was the most expensive hotel on our trip and the worst! This hotel doesn't deliver what it promises on line.

The hotel is very cute and modern in a nice neighbourhood. The staff are warm and hospitable. John, in particular, is very accommodating and gives very positive energy towards the customers. I absolutely loved my time there and would highly recommend it to others.

The worst hotel or bb I have stayed. I travel all over the world. This was really garbage hotel with high price. I will iitemize: 1-no hot water so bath or shower is like warm water??? 2-room is cold, central air conditioning so no room control. They have to varying a portable heater?? 3-shower a piece idiot designed it. Shower glass door is to short so all shower water come to floor so flooded! 4- Light in the living room too dim cannot see the table. They sayde oration purpose? 5- no many service people in the breakfast area. Paying close to 300$ got this. 50$hotel in Asia would be much better!!!!this is a Fake hotel never come here if you read this!!

Location is great! Lots of food options within 5 minutes of walk. Piccadilly Line directly to Earl's Court (8 minutes walk) from LHR Terminal 2 in 45 minutes. (My first time taking the underground from LHR due to traffic jam at airport.) Staff is very friendly and nice. One big flaw is the room is very dark as mentioned by many other reviewers. The room is painted in dark color, with insufficient lighting, so not bright enough. Bed is nice a firm and sheets are clean. However, housing keeping only done if you stay for more than 7 days. (My experience is housing keeping is offered for 5 or more days, so the room can be refreshed every 3 days.) I booked the accessibility room. It was promoted as a larger room, but it did not mentioned it was half a floor below sidewalk, so the nature lighting into the room is very limited. On the other hand, if you like shower jet, this type of rooms has 8 shower jets for wheelchair bounded guests and they are nice to experience. Overall, I would consider staying there again due to the location and nice, firm, and clean bed. I would be a lot more motivated in bookint the place if the rooms are brighter with more lights, and they housing keeping is offered for 5 or more days.

I loved my stay at the Ember Locke Kensington. John and George were the concierge we interacted with most and were absolutely lovely. The hotel's location was unbeatable. Easy 5 min walk to the Earl's Court tube stop which makes getting around London very simple. The hotel was great, the lounge and outdoor sitting area's were very nice and quite lovely. My only complaint was the brightness of the room we were in, it was just a bit tough getting ready with the in-room lighting. Everything else made our 6 night stay very enjoyable. Location, Location, Location - unbeatable! The second elevator was not in use during our stay but this was rarely ever an issue. Highly recommend if you are traveling to London to consider booking with the Ember Locke Kensington!
