Extremely clean and modern room. The room was Also decent size so we weren’t cramped up on each other. I also want to say that every staff member was friendly and helpful and the bellman Mairius was amazing!!! I will return when in London. The location is also great!!!!

We really appreciated that our room was ready when we checked in early after a red-eye flight across the Atlantic. Breakfast at the Riu Plaza is outstanding. The location is excellent. The rooms are well designed. My only significant complaint is the poor performance of RIU’s website: I only used Expedia to make this reservation because I couldn’t get RIU’s site to work, and I still have problems using it for simple things like finding hotel information. The RIU loyalty program gives you extra points for booking directly through their site, but my experience is that this is nearly, if not absolutely, impossible. The site is laggy, it sends you round in circles, and times you out while you are waiting for its responses. Thank goodness for Expedia!

I chose the Hotel Riu for its proximity to the bus station for an early morning tour. While the hotel is nice and modern, it was the most expensive hotel we stayed in during our UK travels ($450 USD/night) so I was expecting it to be the nicest; however, I would rate it the lowest value experience.

This was a clean and reasonably affordable option for our two day stay in London. Our flight to Italy leaves from Gatwick, and the Gatwick Express leaves from Victoria Station only two blocks from the hotel. The rooms were a decent size for London. The bathroom was small, clean, and with good water pressure. My only reluctance about staying here was that it's a decent walk from the shopping and theatre districts, which are a mile or two away. Next visit we may stay in Mayfair or the Covent Garden area. Then again, staying there is likely to cost another $100-$200 per night. Well-run, clean, safe hotel near a major railway stop.

The location was wonderful. It was right down the block from Victoria Underground and rail station. It was in walking distance to many historic sites. The breakfast was wonderful. Fresh fruit and a variety of meat, cheese, breads…The only issue I had is that I got a standard room since I did not expect to spend much time at the hotel since I wanted to see the sites and there was virtually no place to put your luggage or clothes.

The Hotel staff and cleanliness were outstanding, the water pressure for the shower was great, the location is so convenient to get to Victoria station, food , shopping all within walkig distance, I will definitely be back and highly recommend to family and friends.

I loved so many things about this hotel! The included breakfast is amazing and it is right next to a train station, which is SOOO convenient. I give it a 4 stars because the hotel can be a bit confusing getting around, felt like a bit of a maze at times but other than it everything was great!! The location is so convenient, with at least all the main touristy things I wanted to do. Maybe I just needed to spend more time really figuring out the layout but still wouldn’t possibly come here again!
