If there are no other options

We stayed as a family rented 2 rooms. Upon check in the hotel staff checked my son into this room with my other 2 kids but my husband and I, plus our other child had to wait in the lobby and try to get ahold of Hotels.ca in a foreign country where none of the phone numbers worked and I couldn't get through to anyone. We were told upon check in my room was cancelled the day I paid for it. It showed on my side that the room was paid for and not canceled. After 2 hours in the lobby on the phone and laptop trying to get checked in some manager showed up and finally let us stay in the room we prepaid for. It was an awful welcome to this hotel. The whole time we were there 1 elevator did not work, rooms A/C was not great, the half glass in the bathroom did not contain the shower water where it all pours onto the floor. Also there is no phones in your room to call front desk and complain upon check in if your room is messy. I would told this a budget hotel what did I expect. More than that attitude

Generally a good hotel at a low cost, but I booked a double room and the bed had two single mattresses on it so I kept falling down the gap in the middle. Plus £8.10 a pint of Stella is steep.

Ibis Budget!

Confusing as didn’t realise there were more than one Ibis! Also told by staff it would be more cost effective to go ny taxi rather than Hoppa bus to airport, which in fact cost considerably more! Other than that very nice stay.

Overnight for airport.

This was a one night stay to get my daughter to Heathrow the next morning. This was an affordable place to stay and convenient location for airport. We had a triple room with 3 beds which was perfect for us. The hotel is very secure so outside visitors can’t access the rooms. We ate at the restaurant for dinner because it was convenient and it was okay - food was average and service was a bit slow. We used the hotel hoppa to get to the terminal the next morning which was pricey but apparently the local bus would have been cheaper so worth looking into that. All in all a great stay !

We spent one night before leaving London. The room had no AC, the sink drain was clogged, the window wouldn’t open. I paid for breakfast when booking but the Hotels.com agent had to call because they tried to charge us again. The woman working the reception area was kind and helpful but we won’t be back again. Moxy is Nextdoor and a lot better.

I appreciated the hotel’s location—it was just a short walk from the bus station, with plenty of dining options nearby and even a convenience store close at hand. The bed and pillows were comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep.

The layout was inconvenient. The elevator was out of order. I asked for a taxi and got a hire car that clearly had a connection to the front desk person. It was too small, more expensive than a taxi, and the driver was rude. The restaurant/bar staff was rude and unhelpful. I would never stay here again.
