A terrible experience from start to finish, to have to navigate painters at the entrance, to a broken lift ( not idea when the wife has a broken leg and I have a knee brace) - even though I give them notice of by phone the day before.
Upon checking in, we were met with meet with an extremely rude staff member, who had no personal skills to even have the right of being a front of staff.
After, trying to reason with him, it was evident that he had no ability to facilitate to be empathetic nor professional.
Once we received our room keys we waited further to use the singular lift that was operational taking over 15 minutes to get to the Floor upon our room was situated, Having to try to navigate the painters who are painting the hallways walls of that floor, Paint pots/trays On the floor near our room entrance.
These fumes were overbearing and started Problems with my Asthmatic wife. Upon Entering the room, The smell was no better, The room was generally of poor standards, tired, poorly maintained and dirty in the bathroom.
We are immediately booked another hotel and left notifying the reception of our intention and there was no reaction nor help in trying to redeem themselves, A total shambles from starts to finish.
